Poll: Do you call it Soda, Pop or something else?

i.e coke is coke
lemonade is lemonade
fanta is fanta
obvious is obvious (not actually a drink i just like saying that )

Coke. No matter the brand (though Coca-Cola makes the best cokes.) it is Coke. If referring to milk, It will be referred to as Coke.

Everyone in New Zealand calls it fizzy, fizzy drink or refers to it by the name of the drink.

Isn't soda/pop more of an American thing?

Australia, we call it Soft Drink. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call it "Soda" or "Pop" unless they were American.

Scottish opinion here. They're either 'fizzy drinks', 'soft drinks' or (pretty sure this is only Scottish) 'ginger'.

I just refer to it as "carbonated sugar water". Not as a pejorative, I just enjoy using overly complex names for common things. My humor is normally only funny to me.
