only for riddles in hard mode once or to get secret items that i would find by myself and only after completing the game

Most often when I cheat its because the game wants me to do something stupid, or its just not what I wanted. ( I used a trainer to unlock all space badges in spore, as that was the SANDBOX section of the game)
I used to cheat in games a lot when I was younger and didn't really care for actually completing but I've stopped. No more cheating for me.
Sometimes. Either if the game is REALLY hard, or the game is more fun with the cheats on. (See: Saints Row 2)

But it's not much to be proud of since I would probably have more fun if I did cheat, for replayability reasons of course.
I must admit though I did cheat before, but I had a friend over so playing by the rules wasn't really an option.

I cheat in GTA and if the Chinese Invasion counts, then in Fallout 3 too (in both cases it was worth it)
well considering the op basicly sumed up my whole feeling on cheating
if the game has silly cheats that are almost meant to be inputed the only games ive come acrost that do this are age of empires:cow catapult and super man also the spi car catapult and the first c&c:godzilla note these are games i played when younger but yeah i used to cheat but not anymore

Does a walkthrough count as cheating? Because sometimes I get really pissed of in RPG'S when I'm trying to find out where the fuck I'm meant to be going and simultaneously avoiding fights.
For example, I'm playing Lost Odyssey at the moment and I'm running around in a forest, not entirely sure what my aim is and the monsters just keep pissing me off.

I occasionally use walkthroughs if I'm hopelessly suck on a singleplayer game. Also Fallout 3 Wiki has given me help once in a while...
As far as multiplayer goes, I am most ashamed to say that I did a bit of Achievement whoring in TF2 for the harder heavy, medic and pyro achievements to get their unlocks. I have now realised its a really lame way to do things, and I've resolved to be legit, as the sense of satisfaction is far greater when you earn things.

No, but as people have already said, GTA wouldn't be right without cheats, so I put sometimes when bored.
