Derailing threads, or causing others to do so, is my shtick.

"Hey nerd!"

Term- a word or group of words designating something, esp. in a particular field, as atom Title- in physics, quietism in theology, adze in carpentry, or district leader in politics.
a descriptive or distinctive appellation, esp. one belonging to a person by right of rank, office, attainment, etc.: the title of Lord Mayor.

Now there's a difference between the two. A title you can call someone anywhere, a term can be used to describe them.

Oh and just to be further arrogant, I say that mainstream gaming does not make you a nerd. Neither does halo wars.

if someone thinks that playing halo wars makes you a nerd they should be beaten with the gamefaqs strategy guide of starcraft because hitting them with the game case would be a step up for them.

Depends really. I'm intelligent, I know loads of random trivia that comes in handy in pretty much no situations(although I find that to be something a lot of guys have in common), I play games, a lot, and wear glasses.
On the other hand, I go to parties, I'm socially competent, had several girlfriends and generally leave the house(unless a game I've been waiting months if not years for comes out in which case 72 hour long minimum gaming sessions occur)
