So, do you drive to school, yes or no?

Please explain you answer below.

My answer is No for two reasons:
1. I don't want to pay for gas, so I use the bus.
2. Almost everybody at my school is a bad driver. Just today 3, count them, 3 kids in a row cut my dad off in quick succesion while he was driving me to school. They didn't even use their turn signals.
2b Plus most of the kids at school drive large trucks, so if you get in a wreck with them, you will probably get the bad end of the wreck.

No, I walk. Mostly because my parents work late and can't get up early enough to be suitably alert to be driving a car.

Yes

1. Driving is fun for me, despite all the wrecks I have
2. I tried the bus. Hated it in high school, still hate it today
3. My schedule doesn't really match up with other people's schedules that I know, so no carpooling.

I take the bus, and then take the train, and then walk to school from there.

Driving would require a car, license and gas/insurance money.

I could get one of those right now. I'm not though, as I don't have/can't get the others.

I used to drive because I lived 1 1/2 hours away form my Uni by train. With a car it was only 30 minutes. Also, my car's MPG made it cheaper to drive the 44 kilometers than to take the train anyway. There's Norwegian public transport for you. Now I live in the city so its only 20 minutes by tram and inner city prices are much cheaper:)

I drive because I live very far away from my campus and the public transportation around here is laughable. It's just not an option to take the bus.

No, because I get public transit paid through my school and it is really, really expensive to drive here. Even if I had the money to bring my car from Saskatchewan, it would be pointless because it would take just as long or to drive to school than to take the bus/skytrain. Also, I'd have to pay for parking as well.

So no. I don't drive. I just don't have the money.

When I went to school I didn't drive. There was no way my poor one-income family was affording a car. I used to see other kids drive to school, it always seemed really weird to me. I never understood why they didn't just walk or ride a bike like I did, all that pissfarting around in cars seemed so wasteful and stupid.

When I went to university many years later I owned a car but I didn't drive it into uni, too expensive to park in the city.

Nowadays I drive everywhere but I'm a lazy old man and I have ID so it's okay.

High school: I didn't get my license until near the end of my junior year, but from that day on, I drove to school every day. I drove my sister and two or three of my friends to school as well. Always fun times.

College (two hours away). I left the car at home for my first year, which sucked. I don't even remember why I did it. But it was a stupid idea and one I didn't repeat.

When I was in school......oh dear lord so many, many years ago....I drove. I had a license and a car so why wouldn't I? Granted, gas was much cheaper back then. I'd usually pick up a Friend or two and they kick in a few bucks for gas each week. It was great for me they didn't really live out of the way so they kept they tank full for me. :)

Uhh, I drive to the bus station and then take the bus from there, does that count(1 hour away from where I live so driving the whole way there would be expensive in the long run)?

I suffer through the trials and tribulations of living in Residence for the very purpose of not having to drive to school everyday. It's like a five minute walk.

I didn't have a car, so I never drove to school either during High School or College. I either rode the Bus or used my bike. It was close enough in both cases. :)
