You need a 3rd and 4th Option: Neither and Both.

Some people aren't old enough to drive to school, or they walk. Ergo, neither would be their choice.

As for me, I switch between both. If the bus is late or I have too much stuff to bring with me, I'll drive. But since I can ride the bus for free at this point, I'll ride it more often than not. But both would have been my answer.

EDIT: Bleh. Didn't read the choices as carefully as I thought, but multiple options would have been better, still.

Yes, because:

1. It's actually cheaper than taking the bus
2. I live in the countryside, so the bus doesn't get here more then a few times a day. And even then it's still 2 km to the bus stop.

I used to drive to school, when I was in high school. One of only a few at my school who did.

I don't drive anymore, since I live a 5 minute walk from my college. In fact, I don't even have a car anymore.

Nope, wish I could, though. So I wouldn't have to get up as early and wait for a nasty old bus to take me where I'd rather not go. If I'm go somewhere that I hate, I'd rather bring myself there.

I am on a block schedule and so on some days I get out of school an hour and a half sooner than normal. I drive myself those days, but on the others I take the bus to save gas and to remove the temptation to leave during my midday off-hours and thus not get homework done

No.

I'm 14.

Other reasons would be I have a terrible sense of direction, shit depth perception, and I'm absolutely petrified of cars.

When i was in high school yes. I liked it because i could get home earlier, didn't have to spend anymore time on a cramped bus, didn't have to wait for a bus in freezing weather, and I could go where i pleased after school.

Now i go to community college and wouldn't have it any other way. There are days when the parking lot is jammed all to hell but its better then a bus ride no matter which school i'm in.

Also to use this once in a blue moon example if school ends earlier for a cancellation of some kind, i get to go the fuck home instead of wait for the buses. Got to school and the water main was broken and basically i started walking up the hill and some other guy came down and was like if you walk in they won't let you come out until they know if there is school or not. Needless to say i didn't give a shit whether there was a school(there wasn't but i wasn't gonna wait around an extra hour to hear that).

Freedom is what most teenagers yearn for and a car is a lot of freedom and i'm gonna take it where i can get it.

So, do you drive to school, yes or no?

Please explain you answer below.

My answer is No for two reasons:
1. I don't want to pay for gas, so I use the bus.
2. Almost everybody at my school is a bad driver. Just today 3, count them, 3 kids in a row cut my dad off in quick succesion while he was driving me to school. They didn't even use their turn signals.
2b Plus most of the kids at school drive large trucks, so if you get in a wreck with them, you will probably get the bad end of the wreck.
Nah. I walk. Its only just over half a mile.

I could drive, but this place is a nightmare once the school run starts.

Yes. It's cheaper and in highschool I lived just outside the 2.25 mile bus range. They seriously expected me to walk 2 miles to school by 7:20 AM. My mom even asked if it could be arranged that we could walk to the nearest bus stop instead, and they said no.

Yeah, my college classes are in the middle of nowhere one town over in NOWHERE, California. It's too far for anyone to ride a bike and the bus schedule doesn't cover my classes. So driving my car is the only option I have, unless I car pool with someone. But screw that.

With the exception of my freshman year in high school, I never had to ride the bus. After that I moved to a different high school and I lived within 2 blocks of my school so I just walked. My junior year, I got a car because I got my first job.

Currently I drive to college because I live 10 minutes away and I don't trust the bus system, nor do I ride my bike in the winter. I do miss living on campus though

No, I don't own a car, and don't plan to for several years at least. Right now, there's no point. Even if I did, it's only an hour's walk.

Seeing the nearest bus stop is a 20 min drive away and school is 30 min drive, I drive. Also since it's one of the worst cities in America (lovely Flint) I wouldn't even want to get on the bus or something bad might happen.

Back when I went to highschool I would ride the bus in the morning and cold days but otherwise I walked. I hated the bus because it was always 3 to a seat, and that's too crowded for me.
