Why would I eat shit?
I mean, of all the fast food restaurants MCD's are the worse. I'm not the kind of guy who eats healthy e.t.c. but MC Donald's is just horrid...
I like KFCs, but they are so few and far away from where I live it's not worth the bother :p
Besides we got the best form of fast food ;D

Ooooooh Yeaaaah

Like with any fast food it's once in a blue moon, at any rate I have more of a preference for Subway or Dominoes over McDonalds.

No I detest McDonalds. I did watch Supersize me but I thought that it was a ridiculous documentary. I mean, who would purposefully eat nothing but fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a prolonged period of time. I know of noone who would put their body through that. I may not eat at McDonalds, but if I am at a friends and they ask whether or not we go to KFC and get a bargain bucket, I will always put my contribution in, I love KFC.
Well my good sir, now you do know someone who would put their body through that. If I was paid to, I would gladly eat nothing but McDonalds food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and for in-between snackings. Then again, seeing as I already essentially do that with a diet consisting of pretty much nothing but french fries, albeit homemade or restaurant, while being UNDERWEIGHT and remarkably healthy, I would say I'm already doing something similar to that.

Now, I'm not bashing on your opinion. I'll agree, fast food for every meal is extremely unhealthy and bad for you. And before anyone says anything, yes, I know that I should have a much better diet for MY health. And yes, I am actually underweight. 19 years old and just a little over 120 pounds.

OT: Yes, I do still eat at McDonalds. Its cheap, and has average food. Not great, but not bad either. Still, I definitely prefer someplace like, say, Colters Barbecue. Best fries and beef brisket in Texas! As for Supersize Me... While I have never seen it, from what I've heard, I cant help but feel whoever participated in that experiment is something of a wimp when it comes to fast food. Though, thats like pitting a fasting monk against a 5-time Hot-Dog Eating Champion. The difference in lifestyle and diet really do skew the results for something like that.

No never, I would rather go hungry.

Not just because of the unhealthiness of it (fast food is OK once every now and then). The reason I don't eat there is their blatant disregard for humanity in general, the 'meat' is not responsibly sourced at all and the practices that go into making their food disgust me.

Would never hold it against anyone though, fully aware that eating any other fast food makes me a hypocrite to some degree.

EDIT: it may have changed in recent years, but that isn't due to some new-found respect for people; it's because not changing would have caused trouble.

I go about once a month. Because that's when the house runs out of food. So I go there, then burn off the calories via Extreme Grocery Shopping.
Win.

But I only go when wendy's is closed.

Which is only REALLY late at night.

There hasn't been a McDonalds in Iceland for something like 5 years now. And even at that I haven't eaten there for some 10 years. Never liked anything that I've gotten there.

I consider McDonalds to be cheap emergency food. I rarely eat fast food if I have the option of something better, or I'm not drunk or stoned.

A few years ago a lot of McDonalds food issues were exposed through the documentary Supersize Me.
Perversely, because of that and a few other scandals, McDonalds is some of the best fast food around (in the UK) now. It's still not exactly good for you, but suddenly they're using tracable meat sources and not using things like palm oil. The food they sell here now has less fat and salt in it than most supermarket sandwiches.

I don't go to McD's often, but occasionally it's quite nice.

I only ever eat the french fries, and only if they're bag fries or someone else's. I haven't had a burger since February 2010. That said, the french fries really aren't that much better than the burgers in terms of calories and sodium... if I eat anything, the burger is probably a better idea.

Yes, because it's absolutely fantastic and I love it.

All I got from Super Size Me is that if you eat loads of calories and don't exercise, you'll get fat. Truly ground-breaking stuff, right there.
This. Ever watch fat head? The guy ate fast food for a month and then lost weight, you kind of have to watch the movie, its hard to explain.

And Morgan Spurlock only gained so much weight because he ate extra meals (the reason he NEVER released his dietary plans) and he had a lawyer as his consultant who wanted to sue mcdonalds. He also didn't exercise AT ALL the entire time, even my 3 year old cousin will tell you that if you eat food and then don't even do anything with your body, you will gain weight.

No.

Not because I disaprove of their business practices, but because the foot tastes like sawdust seasoned with thousand-island dressing. I do like Subway and Hardees, though.

Haven't eaten there in three years but I tried getting a big mac a couple of weeks ago. It reminded me why I kept away.

If I lived in the States I probably wouldn't eat McDonalds. In NZ though they source their ingredients locally or from Australia. Neither NZ nor Australia have the health concerns in beef for example than the States do. McDonalds is unhealthy, sure, it's high fat food. But at the core of it McDonalds food is what? Protein. Fat, sugar, salt, all things we're programmed by evolution to go for. Nothing wrong with that - but of course such things occur rarely in nature and in a world where they are abundant people need to make the right choices.

Like Super-Size Me. I felt that 'documentary' was a crock of shit. You don't actually need some idiot to do it to know that subsisting on fast food and only fast food without doing anything to mitigate the effects, (ie, exercise,) is going to be bad for your health.
