of course I still eat McDonalds their food is great. Supersize me was stupid plus I think some of those court cases are bull I mean really if you eat fattening food all your life you shouldn't sue the people that made the food for makeing you fat the only person you can blame is yourself.

A few years ago a lot of McDonalds food issues were exposed through the documentary Supersize Me. After that McDonalds took a huge hit in business, but since then they've slowly recovered. So. do you still eat it?

As for me, I stopped eating it maybe 8 eight years ago but if I'm in a foreign country I will occasionally still eat fries or an apple pie because I know what I'm getting. (I swore off their 'meat' for life).
Okay, so you watched Super Size Me, and then decided that you wouldn't eat McDonalds meat but would still eat the fries that are so chock full of preservatives and god knows what else that they never got moldy or otherwise visibly decayed?!

Besides, one of the things you should take from Super Size Me is "Don't eat this shit every day." Every once in a great while is not going to be the end of you, but McDonalds should not be your regular meal place.

The whole "Supersize Me" thing was interesting. On the one hand, I think it was beneficial, in that it forced companies like McDonald's to become more transparent. And, honestly, I think McDonald's does a pretty good job of that now. You know exactly what you're getting.

And, really, that's all I expect from any fast food place. Consumers can ultimately decide not to eat there, so I really think they should be able to sell whatever crap they want, as long as they aren't hiding anything.

It really bothers me when people blame these companies for them being fat or having health problems. Even when they weren't completely transparent. I mean, was it not common knowledge 10-20 years ago that burgers and fries were by no means healthy food, even if you made them yourself? I've definitely always known it. McDonalds didn't need to put nutrition information on all their products for me to know that their burgers were full of fat and calories, and their fries were drenched with salt. And, speaking as someone who used to be pretty chunky, I would never, ever blame my decision to eat crap food on the company that produces it.

I'll eat at McDonalds, or any other fast food place. Arby's is my favorite. The local stores make some damn tasty burgers, though American locations I've been to have been disgusting. However, like any junk food that tastes good... I don't eat it with any regularity. Maybe 3-5 times a year, on average.

Yepp, Tastes nice and i have a card that gives m a big mac and chips for £2! Plus I can control my eating and exercise daily so most of the 'unhealthy' parts of it don't affect me :)

As much as I try to forsake fast food, every once in a while I still enjoy it.

Going out of your way just to avoid eating certain foods which are simply harmless in moderation is a behavior I'm slowly letting go of.

A few times a month, along with other kinds of fast food, it's really an issue of convenience for me.

What, that eating nothing but greasy fast food for every meal of the day and never exercising for an entire month is BAD for your health? This is an outrage! Next I suppose you'll tell me that smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day and sunbathing for 30 hours a week is also bad for my health? Poppycock!

yes. I like there food and all of that things saying "there meat isn't real! are false its just beef really its is no lie. the fry thing is weird though because i used to work there and all it is is potatoes in animal-fat based oil. And I make regulatory visits to the golden arches when the Mcrib comes back I dont know how or what THOSE are made out of but im suspecting its rainbows.

I put no, but perhaps I should put rarely. I ate a Big Mac meal there some time in June for some random holiday. But before that I hadn't had Mc D's in 10 years. There are better, healthier places to eat.

It isn't only the health issue, Mc D burgers cost a ton now. Same with BurgerKing. I can't afford it.

If i'm with my friends in town and need something quick, I'm not gonna deny the fact it tastes good... I know it's bad and incredibly fattening but who gives a crap?

I eat there every once in awhile. I like Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets. Even after seeing Super Size Me and read an article about what really goes into making the Nuggets I still go there.

Super Size Me didn't bother me because I never had the urge to eat McDonald's for every meal for every day. Obviously you would gain a lot of weight and get sick of it if you eat there that much. It is basically common sense. I have no sympathy for the people who sued McDonald's for making them fat. I always thought that was pretty stupid.

mmm not anymore. I did at one point but, now i avoid it at all costs. The only time i DO eat it, is when im on a long trip and i cant find a subway or something. Im not a health nut by any means, but i try to eat healthy when i can. Fast Food always ends up making me feel sick after an hour or two so.

I go about once a month. Because that's when the house runs out of food. So I go there, then burn off the calories via Extreme Grocery Shopping.

Why would I eat shit?
I mean, of all the fast food restaurants MCD's are the worse. I'm not the kind of guy who eats healthy e.t.c. but MC Donald's is just horrid...
I like KFCs, but they are so few and far away from where I live it's not worth the bother :p
Besides we got the best form of fast food ;D

Like with any fast food it's once in a blue moon, at any rate I have more of a preference for Subway or Dominoes over McDonalds.

No I detest McDonalds. I did watch Supersize me but I thought that it was a ridiculous documentary. I mean, who would purposefully eat nothing but fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a prolonged period of time. I know of noone who would put their body through that. I may not eat at McDonalds, but if I am at a friends and they ask whether or not we go to KFC and get a bargain bucket, I will always put my contribution in, I love KFC.
Well my good sir, now you do know someone who would put their body through that. If I was paid to, I would gladly eat nothing but McDonalds food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and for in-between snackings. Then again, seeing as I already essentially do that with a diet consisting of pretty much nothing but french fries, albeit homemade or restaurant, while being UNDERWEIGHT and remarkably healthy, I would say I'm already doing something similar to that.

Now, I'm not bashing on your opinion. I'll agree, fast food for every meal is extremely unhealthy and bad for you. And before anyone says anything, yes, I know that I should have a much better diet for MY health. And yes, I am actually underweight. 19 years old and just a little over 120 pounds.

OT: Yes, I do still eat at McDonalds. Its cheap, and has average food. Not great, but not bad either. Still, I definitely prefer someplace like, say, Colters Barbecue. Best fries and beef brisket in Texas! As for Supersize Me... While I have never seen it, from what I've heard, I cant help but feel whoever participated in that experiment is something of a wimp when it comes to fast food. Though, thats like pitting a fasting monk against a 5-time Hot-Dog Eating Champion. The difference in lifestyle and diet really do skew the results for something like that.
