Bacon is a valid poll option that I frequently vote for but only in the silly or less serious threads.

It seems pointless and unnecessary.

Even if I can't pick any of the serious options, I don't pick the silly. I just leave the poll blank.

No. They're never funny. I actually it annoying when people include them because half the time I'll actually be curious about the results only to find them skewed by people who have a bacon fetish.
