Hate Apple for various reasons, do not own any of their products.
Use windows (still XP, although I've bought windows 7 a while ago but too lazy to change) as OS and planning to make a transition to Linux in the future. Probably Ubuntu, although there are others available.
I don't like a few things about Apple. I hate their commercials and the crowd they market to. I hate the whole "I" thing in front of every product, it's just annoying. I dislike iTunes and similar software because I do not buy music online and Apple seems to have almost monopolistic future planned out for their products... And I fucking hate mac interface. I know that you can probably change it and all, but I do not find macs intuitive at all.
I'm more comfortable with something that looks like Windows 98 or even DOS then have all those ugly glittery 3d icons poking out in my face. And I like the customization when it comes to "PCs" (because Macs are, too, personal computers, but since everyone refers to it as "PC vs Mac", might as well not bother being correct ) I've owned my desktop for years and I've been upgrading it to keep to date every 2 years or so, it's just something I like to do and like to have the ability to do.
And I'm a big supporter for free content on the internet, various open source projects and so on. So that's why I'm going to make a transition to Linux on at least one of my computers.
Edit: And when it comes to music, there are plenty of decent quality mp3 players on the market without all the extra annoying features I see on iPods. A big screen is a detriment, in my opinion. I'm in love with my Coby usb-stick/mp3 player. Very small, can be used as a USB stick, and has plenty of memory for most of my usual music along with whatever I might use it for.
