I like kids before and after the early teen 12-15 years, around junior high school age, at least in America. (One of the ways Japanese kids are different [I teach them]; Japanese junior high kids are great too!) American junior high kids seem to have the obnoxious tendency to be complete dicks to everyone just because they think they can. I have found only two exceptions to this rule: my sister and one cousin of mine. They fail to put anything into proper perspective, flipping out over the tiniest of things and not giving a damn about the stuff that really matters. They rebel far too often, they do horrible things to each other just for the lulz, and they get pissed off if anyone doesn't treat them like the rulers of the world. Once they get past the 15-16 mark, they're fine again. But good lord, those few years before then, they are living nightmares.

Way to generalize, no? I mean it's the same with people, some people you hate and some people you love. I've met some pretty annoying brats, but some kids are really cute, my boyfriend's nieces are adorable. They're 9 and 7 btw.

I notice that most kids generally start getting annoying at about mid-12 to me... I wouldn't say that I hate them, but they're just annoying (not all of them). I like kids for the most part, and I think they're fun to play games with or any other activities. I do want one eventually when my girlfriend and I feel ready (years from now) to take care of another life. I think it would be quite the experience.

Only the ones that run around being a utter nuisance and/or the ones that do that wailing thing that pierces straight into your freakin' brain and somehow goes on FOREVER (I work in retail, unfortunately I see these kinds of kids a lot). I suppose I could say that I don't so much hate the kids but I hate the parents who let them behave that way. CONTROL YOUR DAMN CHILD FFS!

Kids, similarly to adults, are each individuals, so I try to give all of them a chance and let them show me how mature or immature they might be. When I was younger, particularly middle school age, I found myself surrounded by adults who all attempted to classify me with the children around me, whom I had little to nothing in common with. As the adult now, I try to give kids the benefit of the doubt.

So in short, I don't hate all children, just the ones that piss me off/get on my nerves/act like little bastards.
THIS! When I was a stripling, many an adult complimented me on how mature I was at such a young age. To be discounted then as merely a child was frustrating, and in many cases unwarranted.

When I rise to power they'll all be in 'kiddie camps' from 6 till 17. The kiddie camps will be run by former drill instructors, and these kids will learn some goddamn manners. They'll also learn a bit about the world, try to get rid of the stupidity... a bit.

Most of the ones I hate are about under than 12 or 13. I work at a restaurant where I have to clean the tables after people leave. The worst tables to clean are the ones with kids who think its fucking hilarious to play with ketchup and throw food on the floor. A. I am not a fucking nanny for these little twats. I am not paid enough to be. 2. Do you let your kids do this shit at home? No? Then why the fuck do you let them do it at a restaurant?!

No, I don't hate children, that's a pretty disgusting thing to say. On the other hand, I don't really like a fair few of them, specifically ages 12 and 13. Obviously there are nice ones, but I remember being a colossal tosser when I was that age (it was only 4 years ago, after all) and the ones I see around me at school are pretty much the same.

But do I hate them? No, of course not. People say love is a strong word used too casually but they throw around hate like it's nothing. To hate is a burning, intense desire for the world to be rid of someone or something's existence. I've never encountered a stranger I've felt that about.

I dont just hate them, Im also utterly terrified of them. Older than about 7/8 I guess they're ok, because they start being real people at that age. The younger though they are the creepier they get. Even the idea of being pregnant makes me feel sick, just the thought of something living inside you and and wriggling around and eurghhh. And then when there newborns and all they do is just stare at you and cry and poop and keep you up all night. Then they get older and start being little shits and they dont listen to you or anything.
And one did a poo on the floor of my work(retail job). The mum didnt even clear it up, just left it for me and my co workers. I didnt clean it up though. Fuck that.
I guess I understand its in human nature or whatever to like kids, I just dont have that impulse.

I don't hate them, but I highly dislike them. Toddlers, they're the worse; selfish, nasty, evil, loud. The lot.
