Poll: Do You Have Big Obsessions

I was obsessed with irn-bru.

I have a very strange cycle I go through. I get a new game and play it. If I like it I start to really obsess over it for a while, searching for things about it on the internet and stuff. After awhile this dies down and I find a new thing that I obsess about. Eventually I pick up the original thing again and the cycle starts all over again. I like to thing of it as way in which nothing ever gets old since I spend a good deal of time not playing it so when I play it again awhile later it feels fresh again.
At the moment in this cycle I am currently at Fallout.

This is very similar to mine but I get obsessed about a game before the game even comes out and when I finally get the game my integrity begins to die. It happened to me around four or five times

Hmmm, I have an obsession over something I created myself. One of my characters for my ongoing short story project now seems to pop up in my imagination quite a lot. I won't mention which character it is apart from that it's my favourite one, since people who do read the story will probably laugh a fair bit. But yeah, that's my obsession.

Oh, and OP? I too had an obsession with Tails when I was little, I wasn't a big fan of the other characters but Tails was always my favourite. I actually pretended to be him sometimes when playing games outside with my younger brother. Admittedly I was about 6 at the time though, so it doesn't sound as bad now...

I tend to find something and get very fixated on it. There was a time when I was a very militant Sonic fanboy, practically living in the 90's in 2004 (seriously, during the sixth console generation I was living the 16-bit console wars I was hardly alive for. It's as weird as it sounds). It's not as bad now, but I still find something and talk about it a lot, partly because of aspergers, maybe.

I obesess about something but only ever for short periods of time.

For ezample I just got over a bad obbession with Team Fortress 2 that lasted about three weeks.

Pokemon. I was at Six Flags and they had one game where you could win a Pokemon toy but the only way to get it was to have 4 people playing the game so I paid for 3 other people to play it with me so I could win it...

I obsess over little things but that is the minor case of OCD talking.

Indeed, same here. So, picking at sores, checking the alarm clock three times the night before school, keeping things symmetric, those are all things people might find disturbing about me. Been getting better lately, though.

It is typical for this forum, but video games. Been playing them since I was a kid and I am 34 now. I guess I will be playing them till I am dead.
