I'm not sure if obsessed isn't too strong a word.
Sure, I have some preferences but I don't think I actually ever did anything unreasonable because of these preferences.
I don't think anything I did so far can be counted as obsession.

I like crowbars. A lot. I feel so goddamn happy if I hold one.
that's quite interesting, Dr. Freeman.

I'm totally obsessed wish games (of course), but i also like domesticated rats and graphic novels.

Chemistry. There's just something amazing about chemical reactions that keep me searching for hours to find every bit of information that I can.

It's one thing to light up a bit of nitrocellulose, but it pales in comparison to the thrill producing it yourself with nothing more then a few semi-common ingredients and a knowlage of simple chemical reactions.

What kind of firearms do you like?

Do you hunt, tagret shoot, or do you just like guns in general?

All of the above. I've an encyclopedic knowledge of nearly all sorts of small arms and their usage. They don't hold any hidden special meaning to me, it's just something that's always stuck. Like some people have a passion for cars, I have a passion for man-portable, chemically-propelled projectile weaponry.

...made for a ton of trouble at school, though. People freaked the hell out when I so much as read a copy of Guns 'n Ammo, let alone started drawing schematics.

I have a very strange cycle I go through. I get a new game and play it. If I like it I start to really obsess over it for a while, searching for things about it on the internet and stuff. After awhile this dies down and I find a new thing that I obsess about. Eventually I pick up the original thing again and the cycle starts all over again. I like to thing of it as way in which nothing ever gets old since I spend a good deal of time not playing it so when I play it again awhile later it feels fresh again.
At the moment in this cycle I am currently at Fallout.
I do that. Exactly that. Thank you for saving me the typing.
Same thing, usually genres for me. That's why I pretty much never sell my games because they always appear in the cycle at some point.

Due to Crackdown 2, it's currently sandbox.
