It's a pretty simple question.
I used to do Tae-Kwon-Do. I was a red-belt two-stripe.
Red belt two stripe? What does that mean?
When I did tae kwon do, I reached blue belt. I'd happily go back and finish the training.
But what do you mean 'two stripe'? Like, red belt with a black stripe? We always called that 'black tag'.

I run pretty fast and rarely carry anything valuable, yes.

I do know a bit of applicable karate, and worst come to worst, I could probably squash a smaller assailant, or drop them in a counter-ambush, but in those cases, I'm still probably screwed.

Who'd want to mess with THIS?

Alright, it's not my arm, but I am pretty buff.

I actually don't know any professional martial arts, but I do have good instincts.

That is, running.

I did kung-fu for a couple of years, but not really. I tend to just... not get in fights. And rely on the insurance if I get mugged.

I should say tape. Our school (Mtn. Kim) had sub-levels to our belt system. Tape was wrapped around our belts to signify our progress.

I am a 2nd Dan blak belt in Karate, and have been trained in Wing Chun, Krav Maga and a small amount of Brazilian Ju Jitsu, mostly just breaking holds and stuff,

Me and my close friends are adept at knife aided hand-to-hand.
While I have average improvised skills,
I would probably do badly against a trained individual.

I used to do Tae-Kwon-Do, but all I need is a swift kick to the groin. While they writhe on the ground, I kick em' in their asshole, and with enough force, makes them crap their pants.

The best defense is a good offense.

Plus a shotgun.
TO THE FACE!!!!

Seriously though, I used to do karate, but I got impatient and stupidly quit. Course, my house packs more guns than an army base, so I don't really have to worry. Unless I go outside...

Yes. I took two years of karate and just started taking tae-kwon-do lessons from my friends dad.

Uhh...I tried taking a Karate lesson once when I was about seven. I didn't like it and was only there for about two minutes.

I could ask my dad, he's a prison officer and while that doesn't sound very dangerous he's trained to deal with riots and unruly prisoners.

I used to do tae kwon do also, I was a blue tag but I doubt it will help me.

I can run though, it is the best self defence.

Yup, I've practiced 4 combat techniques and i am a master in them all. here they are:

1. Run away screaming like a little girl.

2. Show a lot of game, size up to your opponent in a way that makes him intimidated, and then as you go to throw the first punch, unbutton your pants and slide them to the floor. no one wants to fight a half naked man.

3. This combines the first two techniques. As your opponent goes to attack, run 10 feet away screaming. then just stop. then run AT him screaming. then away. then back again. if your opponent has not already attacked, he never will.

4. If you absolutely MUST have physhical confrontation, do the following:
Throw a punch, but with both fists, directly toward his eyes. He will NEVER see this coming. then, as he's staggering with pain, bend him over and PUNCH HIM IN THE ASSHOLE.
Your opponent will certainly have a story to tell his friends. "Bob, did you get in a fight!? you have *2* black eyes!" "Yeah, thats not even the worst part, i have a bruised BROWN eye!"

A shot to the knee-cap does a rather unsurprisingly good job of discouraging aggression. Hence why I always carry my 226, only got to use it twice on human targets though.

Edit: They were both against armed robbers, both court cases decided in my favor. Duty to retreat my ass, retreat in a fucking body bag more like it.
You sound like you regret only being able to have shot two people?

OT: Most people wouldn't attack me, as I'm big.

But objectively, no, I'm not trained in any form of self defence.
