They're ok. What I hate is when parents can't control the buggers.

Obviously I want children of my own someday, but not for awhile. And I'm certainly not looking forward to the toddler and adolescent stages of development. ESPECIALLY the adolescent stage.

I get on really well with my kid brother, and his friends to a lesser degree.
Kids other than this though, I get out of my depth.
It depends on who they are and what they're like, just the same as every other human on the planet...

Not a big fan of most kids but my 9 year old bro is a BAD ASS! I love the kid and for some odd reason he worships me. I'm not sure if i should be worried about that...

I would agree, kids are great and lighten the heart most of the time, and when they arn't its the result of poor parenting.

except for babies, babies are angels without wings no matter what.

I voted for mmmmmm children... for the lulz.

OT: Yeah, I like kids, but not in a pedophile or cannibal sort of way

Not everyone is wired to be parents. I certainly am not, and I dont see an issue with that. Governments and religious groups are usually interested in everyone having kids so they can expand their power bases. need more soldiers and workers for the grinders.

that having been said, I dont dislike kids, I just dont want them myself, and I tend to get irritated with kids who misbehave in public and cannot be reasoned with. My dad would have beaten the daylights out of me for pulling crap like that.

Having worked at was essentially a carnival company, I can say that it's often not the kids fault. Sure, there are the annoying little shitspawn buggers that do everything in their power to flat out piss you off, but it's often their dumbass mouth-breathing parents that are the real problem.

So I guess my answer is, "not really, but I think that their parents are worse."

How could hating children speed up global warming?
the argument is that having more children increases population densities, and dense populations are consummate polluters, due to more cars, and more industry to support the larger populace. Not to mention more mouths to feed, which can lead to bad land use, which leads to denser populations.

One kid doesn't cause Global Warming, but the argument is a few million families choosing to have just one or two more kids can have an effect.

My opinion on Children was perfectly summarized by Yahtzee in his review of M&L

But this is just because my experience with children is when they're in high numbers (like at the mall) [shudders]

I'd love to have children of my own, it would give more definition to my life, an ongoing project. Getting them a good education would be the primary objective. But I have serious doubts on parenting abilities.

Yes but hating children would reduce births, and slow down global warming.

I didn't say the option made sense, I was just explaining how children are generally tied to global warming. For all I know or care, the OP got the option backwards of just plain wrong.

I don't mind my younger female cousins. They tend to be better behaved and bother me less (though admittedly, I only have, like, four male cousins, three of whom are adults, so...).

I try to avoid non-relative children, and I'm certainly not ready for any of my own yet.

I just chose "cute but other than that no" I don't personally want children.

Also I don't get the "No I absolutely hate them and I'm trying to speed up global warming" you could replace that with something that actually makes sense if you will

Yes, children are quite good with a side of jelly.

I don't mind them as long as they're well behaved.
