Poll: Do you like Dedicated Servers?

I was thinking about CODMW2 and it made think about how i miss dedicated servers, but does anybody else like them to?

I don't see any situation where P2P is better then dedicated servers in any way. I'm pretty sure at least every other PC gamer will agree, I don't really know what the consoles think of them.

It's already been confirmed it will have dedicated servers, they where smart enough to learn from IWs fuckup.

Well seriously I don't think I've ever seen an argument against dedicated servers. It does not make sense not to have them at least on PC, and now I think about it, how come consoles don't have them? software/hardware restrictions?

If you did then you will know what they are

i didnt play call of duty at all, so no i dont know, shall i go hang my head in shame or something?

You can if you want its kind of optional lol, and basicaly on CODMW you could see all the servers and you picked which 1 you wanted to join and you could fav certain servers and meet m8s there, you could kick hackers and campers and it improved gameplay alot.
And it have a certain communtiy feel to it

Everyone loves dedicated servers.

Without them the mod community dies or is dwindling.

I have never once played a L4D2 custom campaign, but my favorite CSS server is customs.

I think they're loads of fun to have custom matches, but I would still prefer Matchmaking for standard matches and to level up.

People threatened never to buy cod mw2 if it didn't have dedicated servers.
People set up a petition so that it could have dedicated servers.
People are trying to mod it so it can have dedicated servers.

Now looking at the points above, do you wonder whether or not people like dedicated servers? I'm still not sure...
