i =( wrpgs
Which JRPG's and why?
Why don't you like WRPG's?
i like jrpgs because i like turn based stuff and the art style. also, i like the story in jrpgs more than the wrpgs. they seem more in depth than the wrpgs.

i like persona, final fantasy, suikoden, disgaea, shadow hearts, tales series, golden sun, and some others.
i haven't played many JRPG's and haven't beaten any, however i plan on playing through the Final Fantasy series.

Me too, I like Anime type art.

What's your favorite RPG, and whats your least favorite, I can see that you probably would't be an anime fan or a Final Fantasy fan, but maybe Oblivion? KOTOR?
I myself I like anime and JRPG's like Final Fantasy.
I guess my favorite RPG would be either The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind or Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door. I don't know if I could pick between those two, but as for my least favorite I mentioned White Knight Chronicles. I suppose it wouldn't have been as bad if it didn't tempt me with character customization and then give the spotlight to the "real" lead character. Combine this with the rote narrative (evil overlord invades the good kingdom; a peasant boy becomes a hero and falls for the princess, and so on), the characters being a bunch of unlikeable slackers, and the complete lack of any player agency got it returned to Blockbuster the very next day. That's not to say that I don't like anime, but that's a question quite like your first. There's good anime, there's great anime, and there's terrible anime. I suppose that there must be some JRPGs that I could like (after all, the Mario RPGs and Monster Hunter are from Japan), but I'd need some solid convincing first.

Oh, and I liked Oblivion (not as much as Morrowind, though), and I've never played KOTOR. It's a BioWare RPG, so it's basically like Mass Effect or Dragon Age set in the Star Wars universe, right? I ought to pick up a copy one of these days...
I haven't played KOTOR either, I've just seen people play it. I haven't played Morrowind either...
Yes there is some Anime I like and some that i don't like, it all depends on the story.

I love both online and single player RPG's. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are excellent single player RPG's. Last Chaos is really fun but can be a little grindy at times.
Yes they were I've never heard of Lat Chaos before though...

A good RPG is easily my favourite type of game.

I tend to prefer WRPGs, although I've enjoyed the odd JRPG.

Which WRPGS's and which JRPG?
Too many WRPGs to count, but most recently Mass Effect 1 & 2, Fallout 3, Dragon Age:Origins and Oblivion.

As for JRPGs, it's been a while since I played one, but I enjoyed Lost Odyssey, even if the story got on my nerves a bit.

My favorite genre no less. I'm more of a JRPG player but Oblivion and Fallout 3 were reeeaally great.
Which JRPG's?
Final Fantasies are my favorites. Though I still got a couple of FF games I haven't tried out like VI and V. Hoping for the day FFVI comes to PSN. The first two generations of pokemon games are also good for passing time.

I always give WRPGs a chance of course. Dragon Age though didn't hit me. It just felt so meh.

I love RPGs, probably my favorite genre actually. I like all kinds too. Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Fallout, KOTOR... whatever. As long as the game is good, I'll more than likely love it.

The only thing is that I tend to stray from the more "swords, magic, kings, and everything else medieval" fantasy games, as you can tell from most of the ones I've listed above. Although FFIV is my favorite Final Fantasy... they go to the moon, and the final boss is essentially an alien.

Is the Pope Catholic?

...

I play other games too, and don't try to play every RPG under the sun, but I still love RPGs the most.

Of course. Most of my favorite games classify as an RPG in one respect or another: System Shock 2, Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fallout 2, Icewind Dale. . .

I enjoy many JRPGs, however I also like FreeForm RPGs as well. As long as they're inherently good games.

Just didn't feel like fun in pretty much anyway. The biggest problem I'd say was the combat. It felt so boring.

I understand, different people; different tastes. The main reason in playing a game is to have fun and enjoy it.
