This post might get really whiny, so anyone not ready for it, GO AWAY!

I just started my tenth schoolyear a few days ago, in a new school. I usually judge things out from my first hunch, and stick to that stance. And so far I find people ridicoulously arrogant. It doesn't make things better that pretty much everyone tells me that highschool was the best thing that ever happened to them. Well thank you, now I've got even more pressure. Anyways, my thoughts have no coherence at all, so I ask you, how do you feel about school? (high-school in particular)

Jeez, you start school early.

On topic, I enjoy school, it's a good place to socialize, make friends, and learn stuff.

I'm not sure what the British equivalent of high school is. For the most part, school was mediocre, but the year when I was 16-17 (first year of college in UK) was the best year of my life so far.

The only year of high school I'd ever say I loved, with the possible exception of my senior year when I had three Drama classes, was my sophmore year. That was great, I got to make short comedy sketches for our school's televised announcements. It's also when I got to be on stage in a drama production. I even tried directing a play, but it fell through at the last minute. That said, I learned a lot about the people around me, not just myself, and if given the choice to re-live it, I wouldn't have done anything different.

Is this meaning school or college?
or both?
I like college for the fact that I choose lessons and have friends in the classes.
School was the arm-pit of depression where people got bullied, threatened, beaten up, etc
you get the idea, a normal school.
[diety], I HATE this country, or more precisely, the people that F*ck it up.

Well, I perform well in school, but i don't care much for it. My one's full either of arrogant dickheads who judge every deviation as a target for mockery, or try desperately to be a non conformist but in doing so become that which they fear. In fact, i must be the only sane one there...

As for the teachers, they couldn't give a shit about us. History's too busy brown-nosing english and physics is too busy sucking off maths to wonder if we really care. In a way it mirrors the school paradigm in that the new kid (history) desperately tries to make connections with the cool kid (english) but fails miserably. if you think about it, there could be a connection like that for every subject.

I won't say that I love school, but I put up with it because I see all my friends there. And I'm kinda pumped because this year is my senior year.

math is confusing, but the rest is okay(course after next year math will be all I have left)

for all confused peopleI am home schooled in the lifepac program which has you take a preliminary test to see what grade you should be in for each individual subject.there are five basic subjects, three of which I have finished

The education system for ages 12-18 here in Ireland is simply appalling. I can't wait to get out...

Loved the last 2 years of it.

Probably because I discovered booze and women in that time.

Other than that... hated every second of my time at school.

School is a model based of the natural world. If you don't fit in you are extinguist.

I didn't care for school to much and that's an understatement.

I don't like the work, I woke up way too early for high school, but there were a few cool teachers. My enjoyment of a class and its work was directly proportional to how much I liked the teacher, for the most part. It's also nice to see my friends because I actually rarely went out to have fun back then. College is kinda bad for me though. None of the teachers really endeared to me and I really don't like the work one way or another. None of my friends are in my classes either, and I haven't made any new ones of my own. I only met them because my other friends (from high school) introduced me and I only ever got close to one or two of them. Really not looking forward to the start of school.

It's ok, I have friends there and fun things happen on occasion, but it does seem to be over controlling and the curriculum's a bit off at times (middle school science is pathetic, simple as that). Also, the only reason the workbook exists is for when the teacher doesn't want to teach. I believe most people here have figured that out.

I like it, with the exception of the numbering system of the classes and the administrated staff, both of which appear to have been run by drunken retards.

I just got to know which classmates I will spend the next 3 years with. Since one of them are a person that I hate with unsurpassed fury my attitude towards school has gone down to complete loathing.
