And? It's sanitary and saves on water. I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned the water you can save from just peeing down the drain.

hey, it is human nature to be disgusted by our body's 'waste products'. our brains are programmed to be disgusted by them to keep us from shoving our own feces in our mouth and getting seriously ill. so it is quite logical to not want to have to pee in the very water i am standing in

May i ask how it is disgusting? I don't see anything wrong with it. Hell, like i said... If i have to piss mid-way through a shower with shampoo in my hair, or soap all over me, i'm not going to get out and make a bloody mess just to piss in the toilet.

1) What the hell are you drink that suddenly rushes through your system if in contact with hot water? Surely you should have already taken a piss if you already needed to go that badly.

2) If you don't need to go that badly, why can't you hold it in until you've finished showering and dried off? Have you no self-control?

3) Do you share a residence with anybody else (as I do)? Doesn't it strike you as poor etiquette to piss in a shower that other people are using as well?

Doesn't it strike you that several gallons of water + tons of soap go down the same drain? It basically cleans it self.

I'm sorry, but were you raised with a golden spoon up your bum? Besides, it saves quite a bit of water just pissing in the shower, instead of wasting a flush with some piss.

Ive been doing it for so long my minds been conditioned to pee whenever i hear gushing water and im naked at the same time. /joke

Mind you, warm/hot water relaxes the muscles, therefore more urge to pee (relaxed bladder). Thats why you never go into a public pool thats warmed.....

I do pee in the shower sometimes and thats due to a full bladder(coz my toilet is not in the same room as the shower). Even if i try to deny it i do believe that the water temperature and the sound of water flowing plays an important part on our urge to pee.

You're in (urine, hehe) in the shower to clean yourself. Then hopefully you soap and scrub all your parts including your feet with hot water, so if any urine gets on your feet, they'll be cleaned anyway. As long as you're not pissing on the wall, it'll all get washed down the drain. Secondly, urine is sterile, and while it can be a skin irritant, it can still even be drank for rehydration. It's not a disgusting substance and while generally I don't want people to piss on me, if it's done in a shower, washed down a drain, and the body is washed, I see no reasonable explanation why it's disgusting to urinate in a shower. It saves quite a bit of water as opposed to getting out while the shower is running, flushing the toilet which uses several gallons of water per flush, and then hopping back in.

OT: yes, I do. I try to go before i do, but the weird thing is once the warm water hits me i have to go again. besides, its a shower. its not like bathing, where it doesnt go anywhere and you sit in it.it goes down the drain, you pour out some of body wash stuff and clean up where the pee went, and it cleans itself as it goes. I mean, unless you're pissing on your feet, it doesnt even have to touch you. Especially if you can aim and hit the drain.

Now, that being siad, does anyone else thing threads are getting too personal? I dont know you odnt have to answer, it just seems kinda personal questions are being asked more often. next we'll see whats your Social Security Number or something.

Yes, and here are my reasons.

1) It doesn't get anywhere near my feet and is instantly drained.

2) If I do it before hand and I flush the toilet the water screws up.

3) If I do it before hand and I don't flush the bathroom smells like piss.
