Poll: Do you think Daniel Tosh is funny or offensive?

His show usually sucks, but he gets some good ones in now and then. I think the biggest flaw on the show is that they go for quantity over quality. 50 shitty jokes aren't funnier than 5 great jokes. Also, you don't have to show the clip over and over and over and over. We saw it the first 2 times, the next 4 are just overkill.

His standup is funnier. The only joke I ever found offensive on Tosh.0 was the Joren Vandersloot one. I forget exactly what it was, something about Vandersloot not being able to make girls disappear anymore. Murdering schoolgirls= not funny.

Neither: I think he's just a douche-bag with a TV show. I've tried watching Tosh.0 but, I've never been able to get far with it because of Tosh. If anybody else hosted it, the show wouldn't be so bad.

I'm gonna be a nitpicky dick and correct you: it's Joran van der Sloot, but otherwise I completely agree with you. Who doesn't.

Like many others before me, I like a lot of his stand-up, but the way he sounds on Tosh.0 just seems so fake to me. I guess it's because its supposed to sound spontaneous, but never really does. The best parts of the show, to me, are the Web Redemption bits, because its just him messing around with someone.

I think when he does stand up, like, just straight up comedy central special or com cent presents, he's exceedingly funny. With Tosh.0, its funny, but offensive, but I do like how his jokes normally push against boundaries others kinda wont or at least just are honest. The elevator video break down this season where the guy died, that was kinda funny cause it was offesnive.

the strange thing is i really like his show, but i didn't much care for his stand-up. and as far as offensive goes i think south park said it best-either everything is OK to make fun of, or nothing is.

Personally, I think people need to grow up a little bit and not be so sensitive about things. I'm Hispanic, you don't see me complaining about all the nasty crap people have said to me. If people just stopped getting so offended about things, then those potential mines would lose their power.

On that note, sometimes I feel like his jokes are painfully derogatory, trying to be funny, but not quite there. I enjoy his stand up more than the actual show because he can't use clips as a crutch.

Seriously, though, I don't have anything against the guy, but most stand-up comedians aren't funny enough to have their own comedy show. (imo)
