Personally, I think that it will be like the Wii. Everyone will be going crazy for it, at first. Then everyone will want to start making games for it, resulting in the third-party crap that currently inhabits the Wii.

Well, it should function, but I'm not going to be one of the people jumping around in my basement to control something onscreen. It's just not how I play games.

And if it mimics the Wii, then it may just mimic the commercial success it's had as well...just a theory.

Is it anything like those fucking eye-toy things for the PS2? If it is then it will have a strong opening then die quickly among everyone but annoying fanboy twats.

Casual gamers already have Wiis, they are not going to go out and buy another consule. Most of the people I know who have Wiis only have a Wii. Thier only other gaming system would be a computer. But I'm hopinh Microsoft makes it happen because I hate Nintendo.

Meh. It could work, but it looks like a huge gimmick for Microsoft to open up the userbase of the 360 to more "casual" gamers, just for the money.

Since it's basically an eyetoy and the eyetoy was fairly fun I think it'll do all right. If they manage to make it work with any real games it will be an achievement.

Short answer. No

Long answer.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

But in all seriousness I think it could work. I think it would be cool on sports games and racing games but it better keep the hell away from my shotting games and RPGs because those would be very hard to play with NATAL. Has anyone played a game like Red steel on the wii? If you have you understand steady aim is very hard unless you use one of your army to steady yourself but if your hand is what makes the gun move it would be even harder. But yes it does seem like a cheap gimmick for microsoft to make more money that they are going to use to make more gimmicks to make more money to make more....

I agree it will be like the wii but i also believe that microsoft does have very smart developers that will make 4 good games for it during it's life span (hm sounds very like another company *cough cough*) games like fable and forza could work perfectly, forza obviously because it's driving and fable because fable 2 had more of a communicating aspect that was shallow do to it's "mini game" way of communicating and could upgrade it by doing something like milo. However i have a gut feeling for shooters it will fail miserably, it will either A) tell you to make your arms appear like you are holding a weapon and you must make it look exact or else it won't work, plus getting it to recognize your simple finger movement like a trigger could be impossible to detect B) make you buy a cheap piece of plastic that will cost a shit load when it's really the right trigger button with a laser at the mouth of the gun. really sooooooo many things could go right but soooooooo many things could go wrong. But i will give microsoft the benefit of the doubt because they aren't nintendo, microsoft thinks many things through and will make natal a must buy if you want to play only like 3 games that will work with it.

Gimmick. The Wii is gimmicky, yet appeals to the child and the newbie with it's approachability and ease of use. The games are simple, minimizing the problems arising from the inherent sloppiness of motion-sensing.

Microsoft appears to be trying to lure the hardcore gamers into this, a group that has already adamantly rejected the Wii and what it stands for. I predict failure.

With allof the fan boycotts going on at the moment, I was thinking of starting a 'let's petition to have Milo pushed in the pond' organization.

I hope we at least get to see hurt on his face when we bully him and call him a creepy, precocious little perv.

I think it can work well if they don't try to do too much with it.
I think it will be a great gimmick to draw non-360 playing members of the household but I don't think it's going to move systems.
It's not going to be a good function for hardcore games.

I barely think that games are going to be compatible with Natal. How are you going to play something with two sticks, and 10 buttons with 10 fingers?
And even if Natal is not going to be used to play games, then it has no purpose whatsoever in a GAMING CONSOLE.
And who cares if you can pick up a dress and try it on screen? How are you going to scan a pair of jeans in a console? Wouldn't it be just easier to fucking try it on?
