I can assume Project Natal will have a sex simulator. I'm interested to see how it will do FPS games.

See how it is before making judgements
It could work but it might not. No one has a true idea, just an opinion
Here's hoping it will work but I won't be surprised if it doesn't

People may rant about it for a while. But then I think we'll all return to our tried and tested methods.

At least until the next gimmick.

I think it's an awful idea that will not work anything close to how they want it to. It's just an obvious attempt to wrangle up some of the casual gaming Wii crowd. The thing that really cracks me up is the "hardcore" gamers that continually blast the Wii as a gimmick, yet they condemn anyone who speaks ill of Natal. (-disclaimer- I realize not everyone is like that.)

If they make enough of a push for it, it'll be successful, but it's down to the third parties to make games that will probably appeal to you and me. I imagine it will probably come with a stripped down arcade 360, so it will probably be affordable enough (though if it's too cheap, and they are selling Natal at a loss and rely on the attach rate, they will be taking a PS3 esque gamble).

We shall see. The lack of tactile feedback annoys me, but it doesn't mean we won't see interesting games. The fact that all 3 companies are on this road means that motion control is here to stay. People call it a gimmick but all the real gimmicks had no real success and came and went. The third parties will have to wrangle us in.

Meh. It could work, but it looks like a huge gimmick for Microsoft to open up the userbase of the 360 to more "casual" gamers, just for the money.
And I wonder if lighting will strike twice, considering millions have a motion control console. We will have to see.

I don't know a lot about Natal and I don't really want to until It's actually review ready and everyone's pants have dried.
I vaguely heard you can draw a picture and it gets digatized into the computer in almost real time. You can Digatize Oranges and maybe even people.

In that case I'll see you on the game grid videowarriors!

of course Natal will work, Microsoft will never release a product that has an underlaying manucfacturing fault now will they?, ZING!.

Sorry i'll stop that, yes natal can work, it can work incredibly well. But wether it can convince someone its easy enough to use that they buy it for their grandma like people do with nintendo products such as brain training then it may not win.

It'll recoup the money Microsoft has spent on the technology, which in theory is good enough, but its not as good as outright number 1 and most profitable game department which is what they are aiming for.

With motion control comes the inevitable flood of games that try to find an excuse to use the motion control, even if it's in the most annoying, unnecessary way.

So no, I don't think it will work.
