It's legal. But no one does it so there wasn't really a point.LeonLethality said:It is allowed here in Canada after a bunch of topless women protested on parliament hill for the right to do so. So I heard...
How is that in any way like if men didn't have to wear pants in public? Last time I checked women (well, at least straight, sexually active women) damn well enjoyed the site of a fit dude with no shirt on. It's every bit as sexual as a woman being barechested, yet for some inexplicable reason society deems it ok for guys to do it. As for the if it can swing, cover it up motto, why does it not apply to fat guys with man boobs that wouldn't be contained by a D cup?DuplicateValue said:It's really not the same thing. That would be (kinda) like if guys didn't have to wear pants in public.
A good motto is: If it can swing, cover it up!
Edit: Of course my 2000th post would have be something like this... xD
Yeah I noticed that too that is why I said "So I have heard" it's a darn shame too...ChaosGenesis said:It's legal. The reason that breasts are sexualized is the fact that our media and society both depict them as such. In Africa and India, women's breasts are not thought of as "sexy". They're a part of the human anatomy. The ears and neck both have around the same amount of sexual receptors as the nipple, but women don't wear ear bra's.historybuff said:Um, because the reason men would want women topless in public is because they like to oggle the female body. They don't actually give a shit about being "equal". It's about them getting a free show. Duh.
Also, I have no desire to see another woman's breasts.
I said "kinda"...Dys said:How is that in any way like if men didn't have to wear pants in public? Similarly, while not illegal, it's considered 'slutty' for girls to wear dresses (not even short dresses necissarily) or clothes that show off the shape of their body, yet nobody ever seems to care when dudes do it...
It's an incredible double standard and I loath that society is so hellbent on it.
Hahaha, yeah, I'm in the process of editing, you're not mean to reply that quickly :SDuplicateValue said:I said "kinda"...Dys said:How is that in any way like if men didn't have to wear pants in public? But yeah, I get what you're saying. Except for the dress thing - it's extremely normal for girls to wear extremely short dresses or skirts where I live, not slutty at all.
And by the way, you might want to edit slightly - it kinda sounds like you said it's not weird for guys to wear dresses that reveal their figures.![]()
