Poll: Do you use/like facebook?

I use it, but I don't like it. It's good for looking through pictures of attractive women keeping up with my friends and arranging events, but that's about all. I'm sick of those stupid "like" groups or whatever they're called now and the spam is insane. I would start using something else, but no one I know uses anything else other than... *shivers* MySpace... I'm getting sick of it, but it's the best way I've found to keep up with my friends.

Facebook rape is the cause of much hilarity among my flatmates, plus its great for talking to people, organizing events or meet-ups, and generally being nosey

It's also the bane of revision. i swear I would be doing better in my uni exams if it didnt exist...

Well ye it is pointless, considering that i already have emails, MSN,texts,phone calls and steam, with my friend and stuff added.

I like it as a way to keep in touch with people I don't normally see all that much due to distance (and, occasionally, large bodies of intervening water). And it's free!

My ex-girlfriend convinced me to get one, once we broke up I deleted everyone off my friends list (they were all her friends) and all the wall posts.
I still have it but I don't ever use it.

yes. really there is no reason not to use at least one social networking site if you have a social life. im not saying everyone should play farmville and spend x hours on facebook a day, but its a very good way to keep up with your friends, to check up on parties or events, and of course the free giveaways and contests.

though facebook is annoying. you have to "like" everything. just gay.
