Thanks for reminding me. I went on a Miyazaki movie binge the past summer, and it was awesome.Genixma said:I do indeed WATCH anime but I do not BUY anime. UNLESS in fact, Miyozaki Films count.
lol, "Code Grass." Welcome to the Escapist. While you're here, you might want to drop by the Anime Fan Club. Spell check and capitalization is your friend, don't be a jerk, and you'll get along just fine. Enjoy your stay.paintb11dud3 said:I love anime, i dislike the really long ones though. Like bleach, one piece, and naruto. The fact that it has over 150 episodes makes it feel like an elitist club. And hey get away from the main issues. I thoroughly enjoyed death note, darker than black, and now I'm watching code grass and it's awesome
Heh. I'm making myself instant ramen as I'm reading that comic...Greyah said:May I present to you, Adventures of the Weeaboo!Jonluw said:I believe the people you are thinking of are "weeabos". Even the fans hate weeabos. Don't let someone telling you they're a fan of anime make you think they are of the "Japan is superior" kind.
[sub]Yeah, I suspect you know this already. I just need to make sure...[/sub]

I've been watching anime for about a year and a half now. I can safely say I quite like it.
I haven't watched Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or anything like that, and don't plan to either.

Recent in that it's the latest anime that I've been watching. I wouldn't call it 'outdated' either, the anime is from 2004, the manga mid-90's. And what's wrong with old anyway? I actually prefer the old stuff, that new stuff you name has everything I don't want in an anime, only Summer Wars looks like it appeals to me somewhat. Why would I want to watch that recent stuff?enriquetnt said:My god your outdated Monster is "recent"?... bebop, GITS, Naruto? all of these are old as time itself, you should go get Durarara, Bakemonogatari, Requiem for the Phamton, some really RECENT movies like Summer Wars, The Girl who Leap Trough Time, Eva 2.22, King of Thorn, Unlimited Blade Works, really good stuff, matter of fact is material like these is what keeps me watching anime to these day (well The Girl who leapt trough time is not that recent but still rocks!)
Funny story.Ironrose said:I love my anime dearly and have for near 7 years now. In fact I'm going to an anime convention this weekend, I'm just that bad.
