Poll: Do you wear glasses?

Yep, I wear glasses.

I can still see without them, but then everything beyond two feet would be hazy as hell and I like my vision HD.

I tried contacts, but it's just such a fucking chore taking those damn things out. Meanwhile, glasses you just put on and you're done. Plus, I'm someone who takes a lot of catnaps, which is a bad idea when wearing contacts. I'm a creature of comfort.

I'm someone with quite the flakey skin though, so my glasses are usually littered with dandruff.

I used to not like Hipster glasses, but the last ones I got are kinda Hipster-ish, I like how they look on me, specially the part in which the thick frame covers the part of my eyebrow that has a scar almost completely, which means I get less stares than normally, which is a plus, Hipster style is a sacrifice I must make for people to leave me alone.
And yep have to wear them all the time, in fact the glass is very thick, like 0.4 CM, I'm almost blind without them.

Used to wear contacts, but since wearing glasses again for funsies I'll have people I've never even met talking about how smart I am.

It's silly that those sort of stereotypes still exist in the workplace, but I'll happily capitalise on it of it gives me a leg-up over my formerly glassessless self.

Well my eyes aren't perfect(anymore - damn you computer!) but it's not so bad that it would be beneficial (yet) to wear glasses.

I am blind as a bat without them, except for things up close. So for reading and using my laptop I'm fine. But even something like a desktop monitor usually sits too far away for me to not use my glasses.

I'm mildly short-sighted. Never used to bother with glasses, but recently yeah, I never leave the house without them (need to draw from life, and that's hard when stuff is fuzzy!)

Sure do. I don't wear them all the time as they are not a very strong prescription. -1.5/-1.6 or something along those lines. I do wear them for driving, movies, lectures and at work.

I have Ray-Ban RB5269 frames.

Only ever take them off when necessary.

Yep, I'm exactly the same here. They're only ever off when I'm showering or sleeping. I've had glasses for so long, my face starts to feel weird if I'm not wearing them for an extended period of time.

I have perfect 20/20 vision at the moment but my mom had to start wearing glasses in her mid-twenties so I'm waiting for the day wear I wake up blind.

I don't think I could cope with wearing glasses after 21 years without them though, I'd probably just get laser eye surgery.

I'm supposed to wear them when I'm driving but I don't because they give me a headache. I'm not totally blind without them, but can't see anything too far away.

During night time every tiny light becomes blinding to me. Glasses help with that. Also reading becomes easier, especially if I've got to read something far away. Otherwise I don't really need glasses.

Also, I imagine that the poll is probably a bit skewed, as people who wear glasses are much more likely to click on a thread about glasses than people who dont'.
