Poll: Does anyone remember Beast Wars?

2.I think his name was Raptor, but I'm not sure. It's been a while since I saw the show. He was the guy who could turn into a raptor(duh) and I think he used to be evil, but then he was good, but he was always that badass lone wolf type person. Oh, and I remember him shooting lasers out of one of his eyes. I think he died though. Guess he was too badass.

Dinobot D: I cried so hard when he died. Don'tcha miss when kids shows actually made you cry? God, he was so badass. Next favorite would have to be Silverbolt.

Didn't watch much of Beast Machines though. Saw the ending, of course -_- That always happens, I miss quite a few episodes of a show but manage to catch the ending. Did that with DBGT too...

At the time my favorite character was Cheetor, probably because I had a fascination with cheetahs for a while when I was young (the whole 70 miles an hour thing) But I went back and watched them more recently and I'd have to say my favorite now would be either Rhinox, or Dinobot....possibly because they were polar opposites, Rhinox was always the voice of reason ( and was the techie of the group, and Im a techie) and Dinobot because you were never quite sure about him ( being a former decepticon and everything)

Oh i had oh so many of the toys. I did prefer the decepticon ones though. Dinobot was my fav.

I never could understand it though.... Optimus...we get it .... you're a good guy.... you still need to know when to lay the smack down. He'd always stop just one step short of winning.

I freaking loved Beast Wars! I keep meaning to pick it up on DVD, especially since I finally got rid of my VCR. Rhinox was an awesome character and I also liked Dinobot and the Fire Ant who's name I have forgotten. Then again pretty much all of the characters were great. I never really liked rattrap though.

OMG That show got me into Transformers!

My Fav character had to be Megatron! He was a giant purple T-rex, that could fly and when he transformed he had an arm that was a t-rex head that shot lasers! What's not to love?

Yup, I have Beast Wars and Beast Machines (the sequel) on DVD, along with the entirety of the original 80s Transformers cartoon.

I like Beast Wars a lot - for being a children's show its plot was pretty good after the last few seasons once they began integrating it with the rest of the TF universe, and it dealt with some fairly mature themes at times. Dinobot's death and everything leading up to it along with the Transmutate episode were touching and very well-written.

I remember beast wars. Although My time with it was basically trying to hunt down that oviraptor transformer and seeing the manta ray guy as really cool. Oh and I had a Megatron T-Rex toy. Although I don't know where it is now.

They (Transformers) were NEVER organic to begin with! They were living AI of pure machines, NO ORGANICS OF ANY KIND!!!

Cheetor, Grimlok (The raptor), Silverbot (My bro!), blackarachnia's Transmetal was very hot.

Common, his name was Grimlock. (I remembered because his name reminded me of the G1 T-Rex) Yeah, I cried too when he died, he was so freakin badass, than cried again when he died again...

THis was most definitely my favorite TV show back in the days that it was airing. I actually preferred it over G1. THe only seasons I managed to find now is Beast Machines and they aren't nearly half as good.
