Poll: Does Naruto upset you too?

I gave up on the anime after Sasuke retrieval, Shippúden episodes were extremely slow and I would rather garotte myself on my own gallbladder than subject themselves to them again.

The manga is fine though, as character develpment actually goes at a reasonable pace.

P.S my favorite character is naruto too. well, and kankuro, Temari (wtf happened to her? in manga and anime) and Kisame (FTW). actually if i have any problem with naruto, it's that many characters are horribly underused.

I am of the opinion that when a manga has too many characters and you don't have time to flesh them all out, you should have them killed in the most spectacularly gory way possible. GO GANTZ!!!

Personally, she pisses me off. She's loved up on a boy who couldn't give a shit about her and spent about a month scampering about with along with Naruto.

Is this about the 2 year long filler? That's why I only like One Piece. It has rather small fillers. Some of them are actually entertaining. I think I'm gonna go and watch some episodes right now!

I never really understood the noise around Naruto. It doesn't seem like something special... although that's my opinion.

Haha, that's awesome. I love One Piece also, but I just don't rate it higher than Naruto in my eyes. I do like it's ability to project emotion really powerfully though, it makes an effort to make a sad and thoughtful scene sad and thoughtful

I also doubt that anything in either those 100 episodes or Shippuuden can top the glory that is called 'Rock Lee on saké.'

fufufufu (some other type of japanese-like expression that doesn't really work), friend, I can tell you with a straight face that Rock Lee on Sake was easily my favourite fight scene...until I hit shippuuden. It's in the first arc, and it's insane. That is all.

You can tell that Kishimoto has been toying with it. People have died, and people have almost died, but it's really unpredictable. And the characters are way to disposable in Gantz, but Gantz is awesome.

But since I was once a fan of the series, I'm the first to call it out when the writers go and fuck with us. Kubo has admitted it before, he doesn't plan ahead in Bleach. He actually makes it up as he goes, which is why this keeps happening. I'm still caught up with the series, and so I criticize it. I put it in a harsh light, but that is really how I feel about the both series.

Well then obviously you are unable to comprehend the subtle beauty of the story lines etc interwoven between the characters. You have missed for example, the well balanced character construction of Ichigo, he has godlike powers yes but they come at a cost. To acuire them he has had to go through countless agonising battles and emotional trials with the constant threat of being devoured by his own darkness.

The story lines themselves are pretty solid (more solid than most japanese animes), just because he makes it up on the fly doesn't mean it's not good.

Not an exact quote, but Kishimoto has pulled a Kubo. There's a Jubi, a Ten-Tailed beast.

OT: Let's just say that I read it simply to criticize it. I even wrote a college essay once that compared ninja of reality to ninja of popular culture; Naruto was the standout "least ninja-like ninja" example.

It upsets me greatly as possibly the most annoying show I've had to suffer through. And I'm not an anime hater. I've been known to settle down to the occasional anime myself, but Naruto is just obnoxious. EVERY character is ALMOST ALWAYS yelling in just about any circumstance. There is another reason that i don't like it, but i can't quite place it. But something about it makes me very very very very angry.

I'm not a big fan of anime. I actually do watch Naruto on a weekly basis but I am not really a huge fan or anything. I don't talk about it or anything, I just watch it as it like any other TV show.

The fillers were pretty darn boring, and was basically used to waste time. I watched it mainly to see if they would do anything interesting....It wasn't that great.

Naruto doesn't really upset me, but I have noticed that the recent Shippuuden series is missing something. The early Naruto saga got me hooked because of interesting episodes - you know, actual story and emotional scenes. Shippuuden is getting mediocre because they mix in fillers with actual story episodes, and there's a big lack of the good stuff that made the early Naruto saga great.

So yeah, in a nut shell, I'm not a big fan but I still watch it. It doesn't upset me but I have noticed it's not as good as it used to be.

Well, I don't watch the anime, but if you're actually upset that the show continued past the Zabuza arc...I don't really get that. The story has barely begun at that point.

I read the manga, so I haven't had to put up with fillers. Though really, if I could just find the fillers relating to Hinata, I'd be perfectly happy...

The only time I've ever seen Naruto upset anyone is when my friends went on a roadtrip (I had to work, bleah!) and two of my friends never wanted to go out drinking or to the beach or similar because they were always playing Naruto cards. So basically the only stories they had to tell when they got home a week later is "Naruto cards ruined the trip". Different.
