For me, no, it actually turns me off the game (no pun intended). If it's relying on "OMG BOOBS!" to sell, then that says something about the game.

It won't make a horrible, awful game or movie sell well, but it always seems to improve it.

Depends on what you mean by "sells." Will I buy something simply because it's being shilled by someone attractive? Of course not. But will I pay more attention to something being shilled by someone attractive? Quite probably. The one thing I remember about the first Tomb Raider movie, for example, is Daniel Craig coming out of the shower. A memorable visual, to be sure. When first I heard he was the new Bond, I was more interested in seeing the movie. (To be fair, I also already had a fondness for Bond flicks.)

It is all around us. Movies, music, tv, video games, entire magazines are devoted to it. If it's media it more than likely to contain it. But does sex really sell? Does Paris Hilton washing a car in a sexy swimming suit really make you want to eat that hamburger? Let me know what you think!

I don't know about others though.

But in my opinion, people who buy stuff because of sex appeal, like buying Bayonetta because she is hot, are weak minded.

Personally, I want to buy Bayonetta because I've heard good things about the game.
