Hmm, how bizarre. I have a friend who's currently at Keele and he can't play games online like TF2 and Killing Floor. Did you have to request to get the ports unblocked or something? It's kind of a pain that we can't play stuff together anymore.dvd_72 said:Steam works fine at my university here at Keele (UK). Well I do have trouble playing some games online with friends, but that seems to be particular to the games as it doesn't affect them all. I can play Dark Souls online just fine, and I haven't had trouble with Guild Wars, but games like Magica, Orcs Must Die 2 and Borderlands 2 don't seem to want to connect to anything.bojackx said:Hmm, how bizarre. OT: I was at Liverpool University for a couple of weeks, and Steam works fine there in my brief stay. I'm now at the University of Sheffield, but I have yet to try Steam here. Nothing I've tried to access through the Uni's network is blocked, so I can only assume Steam works here too.
