I thank you all for all of your replies. But what if you have nothing to live for in the world? Or no one?

I have no family and no "love interest"

All I have in this world is my job which I need to keep renting my place, if I stopped going to work i'd become a homeless person. If I carry on living like this I will be living with no purpose

If it didn't, we'd fall off.
Wouldn't it be fall up?
I live in the southern Hemisphere, so I would fall down.
I just barely make it on the northern hemisphere so I would fly. I would not be able to control my flight patterns and I would die, but that's besides the point. I can fly.
So? I'm in Argentina. I could fly downwards and towards the sky at the same time.
...

You win this time.

Life does suck at some points, but others make it all worthwhile.
"Life is a shitty party, but while we're here we should dance anyways."
In other words, make the most of your time here.

The world suck because we can't just be happy. It suck because we have to work on things we don't want to work on, and because the world is unfair. (Us being the luckiest people on the planet). We could go on and on endlessly with a list of things that make the world a bad place.

The good thing is that the world can be improved ! We just need to try to improve it. The world sucks because nobody actually wants to improve it or think about what we could do to make the world a better place.

The world is awesome. There's nature, and oxygen, and water, and all sorts of other things that enable life. That is pretty damn cool.

A lot of people suck. Life, sometimes, sucks. That's the problem, not the world itself.

Also, despite the problems, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.

Wouldn't that be great. You could do whatever you want.
Travel the world, commit suicide, really try to get some friends.
Just trying to imagine some stuff I would consider.

Do you have any better, alternative "world"?

No?

And I am a pessimist, cynic and an amoral nihilist.

But, yeah, life is pretty depressing.
Out of curiousity, how's that working out for you? Doesn't seem like life could mean that much anymore. Unless you're prone to benders involving rampant destruction and plundering.
Quite well, really. I try to stay disillusioned about some sort of a great meaning for anything and stay happy just because. And no, no rampart destruction and plundering for me... I don't see it as something wrong, but I don't see a point. Most morals and laws that we follow make little sense, but it's a better idea to follow them since through following them you get to have certain benefits associated with society. Which I may not like as a whole, but it's certainly EASIER to live as a part of it.

Meh. I just view life as a (most likely) one-time game. If I fail, that's fine, as long as I have fun. If I die, meh.
You have 2 lives left.
Continue: Y/N?

All jokes aside, that seems like a very reasonable way to live. Usually, when I hear the words nihilsm and amoral, I don't get that psyched about the person's opinion. Not this time.

This world is the best as there is no other (real) world to compare it against. No it doesn't suck.

No, it doesn't suck.
There's always some hardship involved with living here but, overall, life's a great thing.
Anyway, the kinds of problems people in the Western world complain about are laughable on a global scale.
Be aware of that fact and be happy because of it.
Anyway, I agree there is no particular meaning to life.
You just need to find your own.

The world is pretty crappy. Still, I would have a hard time giving up all the comforts I am used to, just to make the world a better place. But if everybody would do it I'm game. Once there's equality in the world, we can make this a better place.

Yeah, I'm an optimist. Also a bit of a realist sometimes, and I don't see the above happening any time soon unfortunately.

I used to think while this world has problems, overall it can be good. Then I saw children get diagnosed with terminal cancer and their parents cry over their beds. I don't think that anymore.

This is the best world i have EVER seen. And i'm glad I don't have to punch mammoths to death whenever i fancy a curry. I wouldn't be that upset if we wiped ourselves out, but grasping your own insignificance just means you can take more risks and generally have a bit more of a bad ass time. Also there are people who would love to have a 9-5 job and no threat of starvation.

The chav problem is not with the world, it is with people, fix the world if it bothers you.
