The fact it does kind of suck is what makes it so interesting. How boring would it be if everyone and everything was perfect? Bring on the suckiness!

My cynical, pessimistic and often misanthropic side says yes. But altogether no, it doesn't, sure there may be shit times when you believe the world does suck, but for the most part, it's a good place to be - do you know anywhere better?

Yes the world does suck. It's an awful brutal place out there and people who think it's a bright and shiny morning every day are looking at the world through rose colored glasses.

Depends on the day for me... My thoughts vary. For instance, I just went through my first breakup today, so yes, to me it looks like my love life is screwed, However, I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough.
Whenever I'm depressed, I quite literally think of how lucky I am just to live where I do an have the things I have. It makes my problems seem almost insignificant, and I think that I really don't have the right to complain. My grandmother, uncle and mother have all died due to cancer within the past few years, and yet I still manage to maintain a positive outlook on life. I don't know how, but I do.

Well yes, the world does suck, and most of it is our fault. We as humans have escalated the cicle of global warming to almost the tipping point if were not already over it. We have random wars over land and honor, and it is next to impossible to find someone who acually gives a damn about you. And (at least where i live) everything you say can and will be used against you as a sexual comment or worse. so yes, the world sucks as much ass as the butcrack 'o dawn.

Man, this world is awesome and then some more. All you cynics are pretty cool. But isn't great to have a world where you can be jaded and miserable about the grandest things (is grandest a word)? Where you have the option to be happy or sad at your own whim and then change it in a hheart beat?
This place is magnificent! The power of a warring storm, the creative minds of the folk around you, the sheer art and beauty nature can create. I find it hard to close your eyes to it all and wish it away. To those people that clicked the 'Yes' button, I know you don't mean it. Go look at an ant then come back to me. Life is great.
