I like all manga types (except for 100% shojo and yaoi). My favourites are, in no particular order:

1. Fullmetal Alchemist
2. Fairy Tail
3. Ranma ½
4. School Rumble
5. Bleach
6. Beelzebub
7. Rave Master

... is it just me, or are all of my favourites action/comedy/romance...?

When it comes to manga, Romantic comedy is my genre of choice.

I save all the action stuff for anime.

Me likey teh Gundams and Variable Fighters.

If not for fullmetal alchemist I'd say i wasn't into manga, but Damn, I really really liked it. whatever that was is what I like. by the way I wasted a year for somthing to happen in Naruto after the time jump and nothing happend. It used to genuinely be good now it's awful.

Mostly Shonen stuff I've been reading. One Piece, Bleach and Fairy Tail being the main ones I follow. I occasionally also check up on Negima, but not as often as I used to, and Full Metal Alchemists monthly chapters gets quite irritating - I want more, now!

A very interesting series I read was called Parasyte, deeply disturbing artwork in certain sections, and a bizzare story that had me hooked for a while.

In the past I've also read Love Hina, and very little of Naruto, but thats about it as far as manga goes.

Interestingly, its only manga that I will follow over the long term, I tend to prefer shorter anime series, such as Haruhi, Death Note and Elfen Lied.

No, not really. I don't like Manga.

Then again, I don't like comic books in general. To me, they're like a movie adapted to pictures and written dialogue; now why should I subject myself to reading and seeing pictures when I can hear and see characters actually moving?

A quick glance at the poll would have told you to expect a flaming for this comment, so without further adue:

I really hate idiots like you who generalize a whole MEDIUM of entertainment as crap, just because, A: you've never tried it, B: lack the intelligence to appreciate it or C: are a twelve year old boy who thinks he's cool. If it's the latter, believe me, you're not. And the world hates you.

And that attitude won't last you long in these forums. Go insult YouTube videos you've never watched or something - the people there are more suited to your level of intelligence.

Good day, sir.

Like many other things in life, Manga is a massive pile of shit with a few gold bricks in it.

FMA FTW.

I sometimes read the Bleach and Naruto manga, because the shows are just unwatchable by this point.

The Bleach manga isn't much better, though. Kubo clearly has no idea what to do next and is making it up on the fly.

I also read the Vampire Knight manga, and am currently reading the Soul Eater and Gantz manga.

I would probably read others, but I can't find any I can be bothered to catch up with.

I had a fanboy phase for mangas but it died.

I still enjoy some, Berserk (bloody) being my favorite.

You've watched and read all of them? Really?

Wow. You have more time on your hands than I do.
no, I am just stating that I think manga and anime fucking suck...balls.
But you just stated you haven't seen them all. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that you haven't seen very many at all. Uninformed opinions based on a thin wedge of selection? That sounds terribly foolish to me.
