Most manga/animes have comedy elements to break up the emotional storyline or for whatever reason, but I've never watched/read a purely comedic one...

Does I like manga? Only if its yaoi!

Although I don't really like reading things on my PC screen, and the only way I can get manga without paying through the nose beyond going to Japan itself is to get it online.

I can guess at least 70% have already said this, but Death Note is pretty good. i also like jenjho tenge (though i would prefer it if the women actually looked like women as opposed to 2 cannon balls glued to a stick of celery). ooh, Excel saga is good as well, but only if you're completely unhinged or smoking a crackpipe.

Ouch! It's not all that bad really. A little quirky admittedly but they probably think the same about us.

About the about manga and anime, I'm not a fanatic but I do dabble in it from time to time, mostly anime though. Code Geass, Ghoast in the Shell, Fullmetal Alchemist, Akira, that sort of thing.

Check out your local library people, most public libraries have a manga and graphic novel collection. Ours does anyway. *shrug*
As for manga, yes I does likes it. I likes some mushy/yaoi stuff like Loveless and Wild Adapter, but also likes titles like Hellsing, Death Note, FLCL, and Petshop of Horrors.

I haven't read that much, but I'm currently reading Mahou Sensei Negima and liking it, and I have rather fond memories of reading Shonen Jump (it was a little before the Naruto boom, though I read the first Death Note chapter quite a bit before it got popular).
