Sure their Sims franchise is a sham and a lot of people aren't willing to accept that EA has gotten better over the years, they're a great publisher/developer and they don't act like fucking retards [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/tag/bobby%20kotick?from_search=1] to developers and other publishers.

I can honestly say that everyone has at least one Activision game they like, but at least two EA games they enjoy.

And yet when Microsoft makes up for their RRoD mistake with free replacements, 3 year warranties and free games or MS points, no one bats an eye? I've had nothing but positive customer service experiences with MS and that's why I'll stick with 360 until the next generation rolls around.

Move along with your times my friend. Activision is the new industry bad guy, EA has been on the road to reform for quite a few years now.

Risking new IP's instead of just milking their old ones, rebooting crappy once-milked IP's and doing very well at that (Need for Speed: Shift...gods I love that game), no longer screwing over their developers (though Bullfrog and Westwood will always be in my mind, some things can't be forgiven EA) and not having a huge dick as a CEO, etc etc. They're not so bad now.

Better than most. And they gave me crysis and crysis warhead. They do have, and I've always thought they've had, good customer support. *stares shiftily at Ubisoft* Better than most, and much better than their main rival too, and for them, that's all that matters.
