My only resolution is to work hard in my summer job, so I can pay for my snowboarding trip.

Screw quitting smoking, I'll do that when my lungs implode in 30 years.

Quit smoking, finally find a job in my field, put at least 2k down towards my 401K, make a huge dent in student loans, get a nice drumset and get back into the local music scene, have a social life again.

I set my goal of losing weight/ toning up around Thanksgiving. I've not gone one week without going to the gym at least 4 out of 7 days.

My goals are, in no particular order, to have an income, to get atleast 10 visits per day traffic on my website, and to learn basic programming.

I set goals when I feel like I need a goal to work towards, I don't wait for the calendar to tick over.

Right now my goals are to find another part-time job and to get some more female visitors to my new flat.

My goal for 2009 was to pass 10,000 Gamerscore. And I did. I feel accomplished even though having a goal like that makes me a complete nerd.

My goal for 2010 is to... get a job, I guess. Or get my permit because I've neglected to do that this year. Or get a girlfriend... nah, I'd better have goals that are possible to achieve.

Oh, but next year I'm going to keep all my movie tickets so I'll remember what movies I saw. So I guess that's something.

To pay my WRX off finally, and to get into shape. The car is guaranteed since I only owe $1900 on it, I think I'll have that knocked off in about two months. Then it's time to get in to shape, there's the hard part! Steroids here i come! >=D

Why should I care about "setting goals" for a set period of time that is completely artificial and is more pointless than celebrating birthdays?

I kept my last New Year Resolution, (To not shop at Woolworths all year.) so I'm feeling pretty good about goals for 2010.

I'm going to try and lose weight in fat and gain weight in muscle. Mainly because I have my eyes on this girl who's a bit (a lot) out of my league. Also, this kind of goes in tandem with it, grow more confidence, particularly with the opposite sex.

But to be honest I'll most likely give up after the first month (or less).
