I lost conciousness at my 8th Birthday party, because I was running round for a whole day and was so excited that I forgot to drink. :L So yeah, dehydration. Not fun. I had to be put on a drip at hospital.

Apart from that, no I haven't. Even when I'm completely drunk I don't lose conciousness, I just find it very hard to stand up.

Broke my foot last week. Had surgery earlier this week. So that's a yes.

I've also stood up from bed so fast that I passed out and fell down the stairs. Was fun.

How did you pass out from breaking your foot? Seriously? The pain was that overwhelming?

What happened?

(Excuse the incredible amount of questions)

My main cause for being forced into unconsciousness is through medical drugs when I've had to have surgery. Nice when you're going under, not so nice when you're coming out of it.
Aye. Pharmaceutical stuff makes me feel slightly ill at the mere thought of it. Generally, my rule of thumb is I don't put anything in my body if it makes me feel like shit 24 hours later. That's maybe short sighted and not based on chemistry or anything like that, but it works for me, so whatever.
But yeah, I've had far worse times with medicinal stuff than I have had with most illegal drugs.
Funny that, isn't it?

My Mother is currently on some nasty tablets for really bad arthritis which are doing pretty bad damage to her liver, and it's supposed to be fucking medicine? Please..

When I was six some friends and I were playing around in the neighbors half finished house (the builders had gone bankrupt and abandoned the project) and I fell of a wall and landed on a block of cement...at least I missed the rust covered, sharp, metal poles that were protruding from the ground.

Haha, good story OP. Um, I've passed out a few times but here's 3 of them.

1.) While backyard wrestling, I was struck over the head with a steel folding chair (no, it wasn't fake and, yes, it did hurt...a lot) and passed out. I woke up on the ground stunned and confused.

2.) During my Army days, I was so tired I fell asleep standing up in formation (does that count or no?)

3.)Um, I leave that at drugs/alcohol. I won't explain the "drugs" because it's basically the same as my "alcohol" story which is this: I drink, I get drunk, I fall down (normally on a bed or couch...sometimes just a floor), and I pass out / fall asleep...though, technically, that might not technically count as "passing out" I guess.

Yes, by accident. The reason was a light plastic soccer ball kicked by a small kid.

One time while quad biking in Egypt the bike hit a mound of some sorts and the bike jumped and spun I flew out and passed out for a couple of seconds before realising what happened and how awesome I was, also I surprisingly didn't break anything!

And due to low blood pressure every time I stand up everything blacks out and sometimes I fall over.

Don't remember to many other times

Hmmmm well there was this one time my body went completly limp and I fell to the ground, but I didn't pass out and regained control by the time I hit the floor so I guess that doesn't really count.
To this day I still have no idea what happened.

I hadn't for a long time, and generally thought I was above it. You know, labelling loss of conciousness sort of a wimpy thing.

Then one day, in math class, I lean back and stretch. The girl behind me grabs my arms and stretches me some more. I lean forth again to resume my class and, slowly, begin falling sideways, sort of dragging my desk with me. I wake up a few seconds later, thinking I am in my bed, and that going to school that morning was just a dream. I was pretty disappointed when I figured out I was still in class.

I've never lost conciousness since that, and I just assume it was because of some change in blood pressure.

Once, when I was a strapping young lad; I was playing around on some hay bales, climbing up, jumping down, that sorta stuff. At one point I figured out it'd be fun to climb up, pretending that I was climbing a mountain, using the strings binding the bales together in place of a climbing kit. So, trying to get a good start, I jumped up to grab hold of a string.

Turns out that this exact string was not exactly tied to anything. So I fell over backwards, dropped to the floor, and managed to rest my head softly on a single uncovered brick on a floor covered in hay. I went out for a few seconds, then stumbled over to my parents, who were somewhat concerned that I was bleeding from a crack in my head.

I'd love to faint some day just to experience it.
I used to think that until I almost passed out getting my blood taken. Not something I would have usually done but the nurse was new and couldn't find my wiggily veins, so instead of pulling out and trying again she proceeded to jab the needle around under several layers of skin until she found the vein. I don't recall ever being in so much pain in my life and I almost fainted because of the whole thing... for some reason I'd still like to faint not involving a needle.

OT: Medical Anesthesia, it was so goddamn cool I want to try it again.

Twice.

First time was when I had been taking a hot bath for too long, and when I got out, I fainted in a matter of seconds. Second time was when I was given a vaccine against borrelia.

Once when a 'friend' of mine hit me in the head with.. some heavy object. I think it was a large piece of wood or something. For no reason other than "I thought it would be funny."

Anaesthetic once. That was great. None of that counting down from ten crap.

And alcohol. Many times from alcohol. Gave up drinking before it killed me.

Well, when my tonsils were removed, they used the sleepy gas.
Other than that, no. Once I hit my head really hard while riding a bike (in a tree >.> it was really sneaky...) and fell off, but stayed conscious. And once I got (accidentally) headbutted in the nose during football. Ah god, that earth-shattering pain... I didn't even know where I was, but I didn't faint. (probably would've been better to get knocked out, that way I wouldn't have had to endure the pain)

Passed out through drinking, had an operation, and also I tend to faint at injections or anything needly. Imagine how pathetic I felt going for an STI test. "Hi there doctor. Can you check I've got slept with someone who is going to make my penis fall off unexpectedly while I go all woozy at the site of a needle and hope that said penis doesn't wince in embarrassment and seek to detatch itself to save some sense of penis-face?"

Eurgh.

All of the above, woohoo!

Accident - messing around with mates while all drunk, got head slammed onto concrete floor.

Fights - Twice I have been knocked unconscious, both times I'd got started on while almost paraletically drunk.

Drink/Drugs - I have passed out through excessive drinking once, ie not gone to bed, just passed out somewhere random. 'Twas a building site next to the beach in Malia (Greek island party-holiday destination)...yeah, I don't know either.

(I am beginning to see a pattern here)

Medical - Was put under general anaesthetic when at the age of 7 or 8 I had a circumcision. The medical reason? My knob was too big for my foreskin, so it had to go. The foreskin that is. A more fantastic reason to have the end of your knob chopped off and be put in excruciating pain for a week or so I don't know, that story is brilliant.

The one time Ive lost consciesness was on my birthday. I spent about four hours straight playing pokemon when I got it for my birthday. Then when I stood up to go through to the kitchen. I got a headrush when I stood up and then just as I made it off the soft carpet and onto the hardwood floor of the dining room I blacked out and smashed my head on the floor. When I came to I had a lump on the side of my head, from where I hit the floor, that was large enough to push my glasses of the side of my face.
I have had a fear of headrushes ever since. Cos it was my birthday ymy sister had just phoned to talk to me and my brother freaked her out by saying I couldn't speak to her cos I had just collapsed. Best birthday ever!
