Poll: Ever thrown a controller

Thrown yes, but only once. I was playing Bayonetta and I was battling the last boss when I was just about to beat her when my finger slipped on the analog stick sending me to my death. I only threw it at my couch, and it was okay.

I've never broken one, those things are expensive.

I've almost thrown my ds playing Ninja Gaiden though.

Once broke my old shitty TV by throwing my controller at it in a fit of RAGE! Had to spend all my birthday money on a new better one

It's all good now though, punching the bed is the new throwing controllers XD

I only remember throwing a controller once, and it was while playing prototype. I threw directly at the group and it nearly hit the ceiling after the first bounce (it hit the hall, less than a foot away from the top). Still works fine.

I usually throw them at pillows or some sort of cushion when I'm angry.

Aside from a Wiimote, I've tossed them, but not in anger. I have a tendency to toss my controllers over to my couch when I'm done playing.

Yes, I threw a Wii-remote once because it wouldn't connect to the Wii. I was very annoyed with it.

The next day it connected fine.

Ive thrown an nes controller hard enough to make a hole in the wall, controller was fine tho, nintendo made those things to last, Im surprised we dont give them to the military as weapons

Like many others; If I'm having a really bad time and getting frustrated I have been known to occasionally throw my controller into something soft ie. my bed / pillow etc.

Never, I may have dropped them on accident, but I will never throw a controller. It's just a game, and I paid good money for that hardware, besides it isn't the controllers fault...most times.

Well I don't know how to vote for this one because I've never thrown a controller out of frustration, but I've thrown one out of joy when I finally got my Mile High Club achievement in Modern Warfare after a week of millions of deaths.

I have vivid memories as a kid having thrown my NES because of Ikari warriors, but the strange thing is I'm not sure if it really happened since this was the 80s and I was 8 at the time, could have just been a dream.

Ikari Warriors, every time I see it, it still brings my blood to a boil, I hate that game with a passion....XO

i never have but my brother is a perfect example of a violent gamer. when he gets angry he throws controllers, punches tvs/ monitors, punches things. as far as i know of he has had to replace several controllers, made multiple dents in his tv, replaced 2 monitors to his pc, and has punched a hole in the wall in his apartment. i have gone to his place multiple times and seen him with bloody knuckles and its never from fights, its always from gaming. the majority of his anger comes from smack talk online but its because he really takes it personal whereas i never do so i laugh at trash talkers

I don't think i had. I myself don't own a console and i haven't thrown a mouse or a keyboard...
And when i do play on a console while at a friends house, then I am polite enough to not throw it.
