Poll: Ever thrown a controller

I threw one once during a bike chase in GTA IV. Some car in the lane next to me turned into me and caused me to fail, and I had been struggling with that particular chase for some reason. The only time I've ever thrown a controller...and I break it. Learned my lesson. It's too expensive to get that mad about games.

I'll throw my controller, but onto something soft so that I don't break it. I never get angry enough to want to break something.

Never, I'm not that type of Gamer that throws their controller. Besides, I paid good money (and sometimes received as a gift) so why would I waste it?

If you are frustrated enough to throw a controller and break it,
You need to not do that because games are about having fun and if you are that frustrated, take out the game and take a break

I don't never throw my controller, because i might break it when doing so. But i have dropped my controller countless times >.<

I haven't really gotten that mad at a game. If I feel that I am getting frustrated I will turn the game off and walk away and do something else for a while. Controllers are expensive, as is most of the stuff in my flat and my parents place. They would end me if I broke their stuff because I got mad at a videogame.

Only into a pile of pillows and safety. I paid for those controllers, I'm not gonna break them.

I've thrown a couple. Usually onto the bed though. But one time I did throw it at the bed, it bounced, went through my 3rd floor window and shattered on the ground outside.

It was a sad day.

One of my friends is a very serious gamer and in all honesty for a couple of months he was getting through 1 or 2 controllers a week from when he was throwing them with rage, every now and then he gets a new one.

I am known to Ragicus Maximus in Call of Duty, but I never will throw a controller. I did one throw a headset, and said headset is now kept together by wood glue and tape.

Since then I really decided that I needed to change my attitude when playing an online video game, and the most you will catch me doing is sighing every few "What the fuck?" deaths.

I haven't done it for a long time but I remember the last one I broke was a PS2 controller when playing Tony Hawks, this challenge was just pissing me off as I couldn't do the last bit then finally I lost it and threw it on the floor and it broke.

Now with a controller costing the best bit of £40 I can't really afford to just break them when a game pisses me off.

I've dropped a couple of controllers, whether by accident or exasperation.

Maybe I'm just naturally unco but I'm sure most people have dropped a wiimote trying to put one's hand through the loop of fabric. Particularly whilst pinching the top bit of the cord trying the move the slide.

I've dropped controllers in exasperation *onto my lap* ....

But I've never thrown a controller. Came close with a wiimote, but that's what the safety is for ^_^

No, I've come close but never done it. I did throw a gameboy once but that was onto my bed.

That's probably good since I can put a lot of force into throwing something
