Poll: Extreme Fans

I've seen a lot of fans for games fighting each other over which consoles are best or Halo vs Half Life 2. I'm just curious, which group would be considered the most extreme/numerous out of these groups?

I'd say Blizzard because of South Korea. If Obama insulted Star Craft we would be at war within a day.

And then the PC, like the valiant beast that it is, rides on the blazing (Yes, they are on fucking FIRE!) wings of Pegasus, out of the sky. With crossbow in hand, sending a message to them all. Atleast, that's how my dream went last night.

Anywho: I vote Xbox as well. Just because I tend to see more Xbox fanboys than PS3 ones.

I went with Blizzard... as someone that has played various MMOs, none of which are WoW, I get much wrath about how WoW does EVERYTHING better... even tho every other MMO does something better then WoW, its just Wow has them all in one place for the moment. I voted 'other' meaning Zero Punctuation fans. I always get put off a thread if I see someone posting a quote or an opinion from one of his reviews.

[edit]: I don't mean that all ZP fans are bastards just because they quote Yahtzee, I mean that extreme ZP fans get on my nerves more than any of these other groups.

I dunno, the only truly belligerent ones i've seen on here are the ps3 folks... the slew of recent articles on the escapist that detail internal problems within sony and the difficulty in programming for the console have only tended to inflame some sort of superiority complex within the herd.

But, as you say, im not one to talk about other's superiority complex issues-- Im a PC guy, and consoles are baby toys for baby gamers, as far as I'm concerned

X-Box fanboys are the most numerous. Try talking about the Wii, and you immediately get shafted. I like the 360, but the extremist fans annoy.

ya, nintendo's fanbase was reduced due to the wii, but i still think that they are numerous. i think there are some groups of ppl (my mom, for example) who havent really played video games since nes n therefore like nintendo more than others.

as for xbox, they may b the most extreme, but im not sure about numbers. like i said, most of south koreans are bliz fans n a lot of ppl over here are addicted to wow (they dont argue on forums bc theyre grinding).
