uh, i just ment for video game groups, not including the surrounding culture.

In that case I don't know who to vote for because I see just as many rabid PS3 fans as I do rabid 360 fans.

Actually, I'm not sure where all these 360 fans are hiding. Like I said, I see just as many PS3 fans as 360 fans, but everyone so far seems to have run into way more 360 fans than I have... Maybe I just hang out in the wrong/right forums.

Im saying play station 3 fans because you need to be an extremist to spend $600 on a new system that barely has any games out and has even LESS blu-ray movie titles to its name.

xbox fanboys are easily the most numerous but are not very annoying imo because they are often such blatant trolls that they are easy to ignore and often fun to laff at. PC fanboys on the other hand are less in numbers but are more annoying because they often think that they know everything about games because they play PC games and therefor every opinion even slightly different from theirs is completely invalid and made by a stupid fanboy that couldn't possibly have a remote understanding of the world around them. of corse not all PC fans are like that, just all my friend... even though I know far more about games and technology than them... ass holes

I'll go with Xbots all though they aren't any worse than any of the other extremists they just seem to have the biggest numbers. The escapist tends to get a large number of threads about how Halo is a victim of some unnamed hate group.

If all fans I would actually say Valve fans. Being a TF2 player myself I do admit I can get a bit annoyed when something I like gets nerfed in an update (e.g. being able to stun ubers with the sandman). The thing is, whenever valve make an update, there seems to be constant rage on the steam forums on how the update fucked everything up (don't even start on hats and the medal debacle!).

(note: the medal incident was where Valve had this random medal as an unlock for the soldier if you were one of the first 11,000 to find it, lets just say heaps of people raged over it even though there was no real in-game advantage from it whatsoever).
