Poll: Eye Care: Glasses, Contacts, not needed?

Practically blind without my contacts/glasses. So I wear contacts all day, glasses at home to give my eyes a break. My glasses make my eyes look like tiny beady things and the lenses are nigh-on coke bottle thickness.

Had a check up for laser surgery, where they told me my corneas were too thin and would fall over if I had em laser'd. So contacts and coke bottles for life it is.

Pepsi bottle glasses are more hip, man. Get with the times.

Edit: All the RC cola bottle glasses hipsters can kindly shut up now.

I don't care, I'm a mainstream sheep! Y'all couldn't tell the difference anyway!

Seriously though, they are the most uncool looking things you could put on your face. Much better than when I first had to wear 'em in the 80s, but choice of frames is heavily limited due to their thickness.

I'm nearsighted with 20/140 vision, so glasses all the way. Sleeping/bathing notwithstanding, I never actually take the things off, as I can't see well enough to find them or anything else.

Contacts? Meh. I look better in glasses.
