Has no one already heard that Pete is keeping his mouth shut tightly this time? Everything he has mentioned has been shown in video form. He naturally has a grandiose way of putting it, but everything I've seen has me excited for it. Then again, when I heard the hype for Fable, I said "Peter Molyneux is saying this? If it has 1/5th of those features I'll be happy". It did, and I was very happy. With Fable 2, I've watched video, not read his statements, and I'm feeling all giddy.
Also, on the subject of love being an underlying theme, I think Molyneux is attempting to play into the emotions of gamers a little bit too much. I will likely be one of the few that can catch and understand what he is trying to do, but most people will think "so, wait, why can't I kill the dog? I wanna kill the dog!". Peter Molyneux doesn't realize he is a Dungeon Master in a D&D game trying to tell an epic, tragic, heart-wrenching and emotional tale to a bunch of people that just want to play Diablo on paper.
