Poll: Fallout 3 (GOTY Edition)

So I know Fallout 3 is a really good game, and I've been thinking about buying it for a long time, like, since it came out. I just wanted to know if it's worth 30 dollars or if the GOTY edition is worth 50. I already own Oblivion so I know the engine and some of my friends own the game, but I still can't bring myself to buy it without making sure I won't regret it.

So, Fallout 3, is it worth the money? And if so, is the GOTY edition worth $20 more?

It comes with all the DLC, right?
If so, I'd get it, because normally the DLC is around $10-15 each I think.

Fallout 3 is an excellent game that lasted me well over 100 hours. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone.

It's a fun game and I invested over 100 hours into it. I'd say it's worth it.

The GOTY would definitly be worth it as you get all the DLC's with it and you don't have to worry about getting them later on or paying so much for 'em.

i also played oblibion and then recently boutght the game of the year edition of fallout. while the game on its own is nice and expansion packs are worth the money and buying them as part of GOTY is chepaer than buing them on PSN or x box live so id go for it.

Fallout 3 is excellent and the only major problem, the ending, is fixed with dlc so get the goty edition and love it.

Game was in my top 10 ever.
Haven't played the DLC, but more quests and items +higher lvl cap would be epic, go for it.

Go for it, and get GOTY if you think you'll ever want the DLC.

Also, if you get it for PC, download The Escapist House if you plan on using Mods.

You should really get the GOTY edition, you'll save yourself some money. All the DLCs you'll get with the GOTY will substantially add to the game.

And yes, Fallout 3 is totally worth it. Of course, I am a little biased.

I bought the GOTY edition on a Steam sale. Paid $37.50 for it. Bargain at twice the price. I have it ranked #8 on my list of greatest games of all-time.
