I had one about a month ago. Went into town with my friends before waking up.
Was completely confused too.

This has never happened to me. Or at least none that I can remember.
But I have had a few false lucidity dreams.. I have never heard of anyone complain about those, though.

Yeah, out camping once. Woke up in my sleeping bag, started getting dressed, foot snagged on the edge of the tent (you know, that bottom part that sticks up a bit with half the zipper on it?), fell out of the tent... Woke up in my sleeping bag.

I have had a False awaking before, thinking I walked out of bed and got dressed to go grab some breakfast, this was quickly ended however when I was attacked by a carnivorous set of underwear (I'm not mocking you! It really was underwear, I swear!) on my way to the stairs.

From the wikipedia page I had a Type 2 false awakening

Yeah, I've had the typical going through school ones, and more annoying, on very, very rare occurances, I'll 'wake up', then walk into the bathroom, lift the toilet lid, stand there, and midway through relieving my bladder, I wake up soaked in urine. I hate that. It's really quite immasculating.

I have them, but there's always something wierd in them. For example, I'll be getting up, going to the toilet, going downstairs, and walk past a penguin on the way to the kitchen. It strikes me as odd, but I just accept it and get on with the day. When I wake up, I wonder how the hell I didn't know I was dreaming.

Yeah, but I don't go about my normal rituals. I just go back into another wacky dream until I realize that I haven't actually woken up.

I remember a few years ago that happened a couple of times in the same night.

Yes, but even moreso - I sometimes act like I'm awake when I'm in a deep sleep. Like stare at somebody trying to talk to me or answer back 'yeah I'm awake' etc.

Yes, I dreamt a whole sunday and when I woke up I was mad at my mother becuase she didn't wake me in time for school... Needless to say she was very confused and told me it was sunday...

Also on the topic of dreaming, last night I dreamt that I was in a very similar situation that I were in just before going home to sleep, the only difference was that one guy had a laptop and I got pissed at a guy instead of just annoyed... It took me at least 10min after waking up to figure out which of them was a memory and which was a dream...

They are a bane to me... often happening within a dream in a dream. This means I can have a fake wakening half a dozen times before I manage to punch from the dream scape if it is a particularly strong one. Often, luckily, after the second time it becomes way to obvious I am in a dream and that knowledge alone often causes them to collapse for me.

Which sucks, cause I really would like to get a talent at dreamscaping. It makes your dreams MUCH more enjoyable. Yet if I focus on the fact I am dreaming it often is enough, all by itself, to wake me up. I guess you need a more gentle touch then just trying to make your dreams about sex....
