The point is, even if you manage to kill someone with a single headshot from a silenced gun from miles away they know where you are. The only silent thing you can do is slashing them with a machete...

I succeded in stealthing quite a few missions. The 'killing the king missions', the one to destroy the radio station and a few others.

"Stealth" is a joke in FC2. The enemies usually manage to spot you no matter what and stealth is only an option in the dead of night. The stealth weapons in the game (MP5SD2, Suppressed 9mm, and Dart Gun) are either not that great, or have very limited ammo. It's best just to go in blasting and bombing.

Why have you typed 'a mile of African bush' and 'a tree' separately?
Isn't the tree included with or part of the African bush?

I guess I was thinking of the brush as small bushes and tall grass, not the larger foliage. But yes, the tree could be included.

Well when I played the game it either went:-

A) daytime and i was shot with a shotgun 5 miles away hiding behind a giant sign.

B) nighttime and i could walk up to their face and start dancing and he'd do nothing

Gun battles online are pretty fun though.

actusally I managed to sprint into a scout barricade when they werent looking, slide behind a bush and stay hidden. One told his friend "Check that out, i think I saw something move" funniest bit is Basically I ravaged his friend with a machete and they didnt notice the yells, blood, gunfire and thefactthathisfrienddidntreturn...So then I pulled out a silenced pistol and took them all out at angles that meant none of them noticed the others heads burst with blood....

I didn't have time for stealth, as I was driving over the enemies with RPG in one hand and Assault Rifle in other.

well i haven't completed it, but in the time i have played it, i'm yet to find any stealth sections at all. it seems much simpler to just go in guns blazing for any obstacle on that game.
