Jolteon was always my favorite. Don't really know why since I always liked Raichu more and kept one with me typically...
I never really used to Eevee evolutions much either way.
I have a Leafeon in Pearl as my grass type and it fares well enough. I always wanted a full Eevee party but I just never got around to it or didn't feel like it.

Flareon for a few reasons, but mainly because he's the only one to have a mane.

Jolteon all the way. He's more badass than all the others combined. Plus he's cute. Plus he shoots lightning. You can't beat that.

As for why people don't play the new games, the new Pokemon got ridiculous, to the point where it seemed like there was a new Pokemon type for every single one. It's just ridiculous, That and the fact that all the original Pokemon were interesting and original, whereas the new ones are just overboard.

Just plain Eevee for me.
Because I love training it to level 99 and kicking everyone's asses with a little fury animal.

Anyway, Umbreon or Jolteon. I stopped paying attention after Gold/Silver. Partly because I never got a gameboy advance. Partly because they were crap.

Also, Jolteon. Most of the time I chose Vaporeon because of his tank properties, but Jolteon had ridiculous special and speed, so I thought he was better.

Oh and also, listen to me on this...Flareon was shit. Total shit. There was no reason not to get an Arcanine instead.

EDIT: Also I didn't choose Jolteon because I had a Raichu which kicked some serious arse.

Yeah, like I was saying above, Arcanine was miles better in my opinion, same with Charmeleon and....um...I'm not even going to say magmar because I never liked him one bit, but you're right, there were hardly any fire types, what was up with that?

I was content back when all they had was Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon.
