In Morrowind, I always was a Wood Elf because I like stealth and lock picking. In Oblivion I was always a Dark Elf because I still like the stealth stuff, but sneaking wasn't as hard and lock picking was ridiculously easy (especially when you get the skeleton key at lvl. 10) so I went with a slightly more combat oriented race.
I suddenly want to find a copy of Gex 2 and 3.

Good times...But lockpicking is cake in Oblivion. I can open Very Hard locks, first try, with a Security skill of 5.

Seriously, why should I bother with the Skeleton Key at this points?

I always pick Dark Elf.
Always,no matter what type of character I play as.
Well, they can do everything. But you should try other races on occasion.

The only one I hate is Imperial. They're great in Morrowind, where Speechcraft and Personality matter. but in Oblivion...

Argonian totally when i play a mage, which is my more common starting class lol. Second would be an Orc when i'm a fighter which.... I do play fairly often more so on Morrowind. Then usually a Wood elf as my third.

Nords......always Nords. They have cool face tattoos, great houses and a 'don't give a shit' attitude to everyone.

They fit with my play style perfectly. Wear heavy armour, grab a huge sword, go in, kill everything, take everything, go home for a few beers. I like to practice magic to create UberNord too!

Dunmer was always my first choice, mainly because of their versatility, their cultural beliefs and because the dark complexion was just awesome.

I have to say Khajiit are second best because they're sneaky and I my Hand-To-Hand Khajiit was so strong and fast I could get pummelled by 3 people at once and still emerge victorious. Also the Night-Eye thing was handy as all hell in those dark caves.

After that it's Argonians, for all the aforementioned reasons.

Meh ... Dark Elf ... or Khajiit.

Dunmer especially in Morrowind + expansions ... because when you get bored you go on an Imperial-slaughtering-rampage .... 'liberating' Vvardenfell.

'Cos then you just have to mash 'auto' until you hear a click :3

Skeleton key would have been better if it DIDN'T raise your lockpicking abilities.

Dark Elves are hot...

Okay, I'm just kidding. But they are cruel and sadistic and cool and evil. So yeah, they're my favourite ;)

b) I am boring and like to tank

c) I like Bruma

I started out playing Morrowind, and fell in love instantly with the Noric people. A race that combined the best traits of the Celtic people (predominantly drawing from Scottish influences) mixed with a strong base of Nordic features.

I didn't really have a favorite, in fact I thought they all looked weird, but for some reason I always went with Breton.
