Poll: favorite hack and slash game

i put cod for all those people that refuse to play anything else. although they likely wouldn't be on this site.

I'm a little scared at how high CoD is ranking in the votes. Looks like "God of War" and "Devil May Cry" are the clear favors though, which is what I would expect given those options.

edit: I was also expecting Kingdom Hearts here, though I am hard pressed to see how one could either hack or slash with a giant key.

Going by the definition of "hack & slash," I'd say neverwinter Nights, Diablo, Baldur's Gate, etc.

I would have put No More Heroes on the list, but I chose Bayonetta.

First time I played it I could not stop for some reason, I just thought it was the sexiest looking hack and slash that was so over the top and I had some DMC flash backs when I played it the first time.

But mostly I was hooked on getting pure platinum or platinum medals and trying to outrank the Japanese crowd on the leaderboards.

I felt so proud knowing I got better scores than a Japanese guy.
