I like how Kaidan isn't listed. Did anyone like that guy?

Unlike most of the other characters, Kaidan is completely forgettable. He really isn't interesting in any way.

I don't even remember any of his dialogue, aside from "Big place!".

Garrus; I like his pragmatic approach to things. He may start out a little weak, but once you level him up he is an awesome all-round character. God I hope he's in ME2.

I had Liara in the other spot to give a balance of biotic powers. Together they made short work of the enemy.

Wrex was definitely the best for entertainment value and tactical reasons. I'd always equip him with the third best shotgun and the best assault rifle Tali got second Shepard got first.

The one part of the game that pissed me off was when Ashley killed him. I had to reload from a ways back.

Tali and Liara with my soldier. Balanced Party, Tali's skills made her invaluable.

Liara was good, she saved me from rushers using warp on higher difficulties when my health was incredibly low. The solder classes seemed useless, as all they did was die pretty quickly.

I also sympathized with him: "Too many lights, too much noise," indeed.
At least...I think that was what he said.

It's been a while.

Yeah, I always appreciate a character who isn't a whiny little *****, and Kaiden had EVERY reason to be one. Oddly enough, I seemed to always kill him off.

Regarding the OP: Wrex. That guy was 10 different kinds of cool at once.

Yeah, I was never a big Ashley fan.
That's why she always died on Virmire.

It was her pre-mission descision on Virmire that caused me to choose her as the sacrificial lamb.

After reloading the previous save and having a word with Wrex again, obviously.

Characterwise I liked Tali best, probably with Wrex or Garrus second. For missions however I played nearly everything with Ashley and Liara (as a tank and healer respectively... sorry too much WoW...)

I don't think I can vote against Wrex on this one. Wrex can provide a solution to any situation imaginable, and that solution only a few Renegade points away. Wrex it is.

Wrex was my homeboy and Garrus was also my homeboy. Tali ranked a very close third. My first run through was her and Wrex.

I discovered that I could give Garrus a rocket launcher (Best sniper rifle with Exploding rounds and two Frictionless Materials) though so he got more combat time. Ashley was likable enough, I just didn't need a soldier with Wrex and Garrus and myself being... Whatever the hell the biotic shotgun soldier was...

Garrus having the nuke and Wrex having Incendiary Rounds on his assault rifle with me using Polonium on a souped up Shotty... That was just fun.

I find it odd that I never had Wrex get killed in the plot. I suppose I have a way with dangerous humanoid reptiles. I would go through and let him get shot by Ashley to see how it worked but... Fuck that, Wrex is awesome.
