Extra Credits would be too easy to say. I mean, it's brilliant (if it gets a little bogged down with buzzwords now and again...). It would definitely be the first choice after Zero Punctuation. Hell, it'd probably take the first place trophy AWAY from ZP. However, the best part about the Escapist (besides all the other Best Parts) is that unless everyone clearly and unabashedly hated the show in question, all the shows run concurrent. Every day of the week I get something wonderful.
I would love to hang out with MovieBob sometime, everything he's involved with is golden. Informative AND knee-slappingly funny? Get outta here. I can't choose between The Big Picture or Escape to the Movies, but then I've been watching MovieBob for quite a while. Bob is one of the best things to happen to The Escapist and we are all so damn lucky to hear him speak, let alone for free.
What about Miracle of Sound? That guy was fantastic before he was on the Escapist, but now it's like he's gotten steroid injections into his creativity centre. He makes a consistently good, well-lyricised piece week after week, despite trying a different style of music every time. It seriously blows my mind. How does he do it?!
Everybody here reads the Escapist Magazine still, right? The articles run the full gamut from thought-provoking, to tear-inducing, to laugh-until-the-neighbours-call-the-cops funny. It's always worth a read.
Everything else is just OK. There's Loading Ready Run, which is an alright sketch comedy show (for the internet, anyway). Jimquisition is a fun little diversion. Unskippable is only entertaining the first time you see it. I was getting kind of pissed off at Doraleous and Associates by the end... but I think maybe I miss it now?
